Kind of a weird two game series with a day off inbetween, but a sweep is a sweep!
It was nice to see Wesneski have a good start today. He is hard to predict.
After Hodge got out of that jam in the 7th, I realized that I don’t hate the Cubs’ current bullpen. I currently like Hodge, Little, Lopez, and Miller. Little got into a jam in the 9th. But I don’t believe he really gave up any hard contact that inning. Smyly is fine. Roberts has been good in his three outings this season. Neris is a problem but hasn’t been bad in his last five games. And we will see what Hunter Bigge can do.
Undefeated in the all female booth era
Well, that’s two out of three, and Meatloaf assures me that’s not bad. Let’s keep it going.
Galaxy brain move by Counsell to have Luke Little load the bases so that Neris felt comfortable for his patented nerve wracking saves
Good game…answer shutout with a shutout.
You know, being the first shutout since May I am curious how many times the bullpen has been left with a shutout and blown it in between that time
Good game, good broadcast
Honesty a solid series. Naturally the one time I drive up to Wrigley for a game is for the 0-7 turd however
I like when the Cubs win, because they’re my favorite team.
Fuuuuuccckkkk yeah
shout out to michael busch. consistently batting well his rookie season and seems to have figured out how to scoop a baseball as well.
imagine how bad we would be doing this season if we had hosmer in his place

Wesneski and Pat Hughes were both in peak form today.
And Dansby finally got a hit! Hopefully this is a turning point.
Nice. Now 2 really tough series going into the ASB
Watch out! That’s out 5th series win since May 1st
Went 3-for-3 in games attended during the homestand 😌
Let’s keep the women in the booth the rest of the season
After all I have said, I must honor a good performance by both Amaya and Neris. Thank you for contributing.

And all it took was Brewer’s hand.
