team in the NFC North is the Green Bay Packers one of the big stories last year was the emergence of Jordan love as a new starting quarterback turned a a lot of heads Kevin what will love and this young Packers offense do for an encore he is going to make the NFC championship game as a floor in my opinion boy they were the youngest team since the 1977 Bears to make the playoffs and what was really special last year about love is he was the best deep passer over the second half of the NFL season but he was also the best intermediate passer he married those two really well taking deep shots when it mattered understanding how to use the middle of the field spreading the ball out to what I consider five number two receivers which is good as a number one this is a special group they’re going to have a special season you share those expectations I I do and I would just layer on Jordan Morgan first round pick who could I think start at left tackle David bakari last couple years we know he’s been hurt that has not been a strength but this team is really deep on all the skill positions you talk about guys like d terius Wicks to go with Romeo dobs Christian Watson Jaden Reed uh getting Josh Jacobs so I think Jordan love really just needs to play point guard I think the sky is the limit and you go back to the postseason guys 48 points against a really good Dallas defense and they lost to the 49ers on the road by only a field goal so this team can get right back there and I think it actually get to the Super Bowl yeah that playoff experience not to be underestimated as a factor in their development going forward right as a young group Harry how you feeling about the Packers you think they can Challen challeng or overtake the lions in that division yeah I think they’re definitely going to challenge them I have the Lions number one right now I actually have the Lions as the best team in the NFC as a whole but when you look at Green Bay I think what’s going to be pivotal for them is now defensive coordinator Jeff Halley and where can he take that defense and putting guys in the proper positions to be successful kind of like like we seen Jim Schwarz last season with the Cleveland Browns can Jeff hle come in as a DC and make a difference for that defense because if they can if he can I should say then the Green Bay Packers are going to have a solid a solid season yeah I feel like it’s been a few years in a row now where the Packers thought they were going to be better on defense uh than they turned out to be you picking the Packers in the in the division absolutely teams don’t age in years they age in games and we saw a team mature in front of our eyes last year over the course of the second half that defense is one of the most athletic in the entire NFL now with the new DC it’s going it’s going to come all come together I think this is a really good team Harry picked the Lions Kevin picks the Packers break the tie who’s win I’m going to go with Mr Clark all right two for the Packers we will find okay so as you guys know I’m incredibly excited about the NFC North and just the NFC as a whole this whole idea it’s so funny people who are like big Chiefs fans or whatever they all love to just parrot the the nonsense that the NFC is weak and that the AFC is just this like dominant Powerhouse and they’re so good and the NFC has no one and it’s like what are we talking about here these teams are insane insane especially this season so I think it’s going to be an absolute dog fight I really do I think it’s going to be amazing I think it’s just going to be Camp Miss TV when you’re talking about the Packers and the Lions and the 49ers and the Eagles to me those are the top four teams right now um in the NFC and are better than most of the teams in the AFC so I think there’s going to be some question marks all these teams that I just mentioned um Can the Packers continue to grow and evolve which to be very clear I think they will um I think the Lions I know a lot of Packers fans are going to be like no no no don’t say good things about the Lions but the truth is the lions are also going to be a great team as well they made some major steps especially defensively as well and their offense is going to continue to be firing at all cylinders there’s no reason to believe it won’t um the 49ers um I think right they’re they’re the they’re the reigning um NFC champ I and they went to the Super Bowl and almost won the Super Bowl um you have to imagine that they’re also going to be really really great but there’s also a question mark around them in terms of like can they all stay healthy we know Christian mcaffrey has had injury history Debo’s always banged up like last season was kind of this perfect um outcome where everybody was healthy and it’s like well will they continue to be able to do that KD’s getting older um they have a new defensive coordinator like there there’s genuine question marks what’s going on with iuk is he going to be traded is he not there’s talk about maybe trading Debo and keeping iuk like there’s just just a little bit more question marks surrounding that and then you have the Eagles Eagles went to the Super Bowl in 22 and you know we then they even started off the last season um pretty hot but then they kind of fell apart and it’s like okay well they got new coordinators they got Sequon Barkley they lost uh uh Jason Kelce like what are the question marks around them can they kind of come back to form I believe they will as well but again still also question marks and to me one of the teams with the least question marks is going to be the Packers right like that leads me to be believe that the Packers like if you had to choose who are you going to pick to me the Packers have the least question marks so that’s why like you can easily put them at the highest um because like I said the Lions do have that those question marks around defense or defense was not good but again I do think they made legitimate moves to improve that but it is still a genuine question mark also has Dan learned and evolved as a as a head coach right like he made some serious mistakes last season will he continue to make those mistakes or will he learn from them um and so to me with the Packers their whole thing is just them maturing and and just getting more and more comfortable and and Jordan love evolving I I guess technically the question mark is like will Jordan love continue to evolve as a quarterback or was he just like hot for the last 10 plus games last season and it’s just like I I don’t think so I think he showed who he really is and proved what he’s capable as a quarterback and it’s just so hard for me to imagine that he then just slides down into like a baker Mayfield level type quarterback or something right or like a Derek Carr and I don’t even I’m not even like saying that’s like such a bad thing because I’m on the record also saying that even if he did even if Jordan love became just a good average Quarterback right someone who’s in like the 13 14 10 11 12 right range of quarterback play that’s still good enough for this Packers team to go really far and be a contender cuz I think Matt laflor is that good of a coach and I think the young offensive weapons are only going to continue to grow and get better like uh whoever said that you know the Packers have like five number two receivers maybe at that time they did but again these guys are getting better and better better once upon a time no one saw Devonte as a number one go watch some old clips it’s actually kind of funny I reviewed a clip recently where Nick Wright you know from first things first was talking about Devonte being like a number two or number three receiver and it’s like no one in their right mind would ever say that so everyone’s always so quick to label or grade these players and say who they’re going to be and this is what they’re going to be forever and it’s like I’m so happy you guys are so confident in making those conclusions because you’re just making stuff up and you just hope you’re right because if you’re right you get to say I told you and if you’re wrong you just like skip over it and go on to the next clip so I I just think um that the sky is genuinely the the limit for the Packers and I just think that they have this exciting and perfect mix of Youth and Veterans under the leadership of Matt laflor um so to me it’s just and but but to be clear and I know Packers fans are probably liked everything that I just said in terms of you know boosting them them up but it’s not a runaway like it is an absolute Gauntlet it just really is it’s going I know you’re probably really confident if you’re a Packers fan oh the the lions got nothing on us oh yeah right the 49ers just wait the Eagles they’re overrated let me just be honest with you like it’s going it’s not going to be easy these are all high-powered offenses especially with all quarterbacks that have proven to be able to play at the highest levels so it is going to be one of those things where it’s like what happens on the little things which team can do the little things correctly and more efficiently which team has a better game plan going into the playoffs which team has home field advantage which team minimizes that bizarre mistake where the ball kicks off the back of the leg on a punt return which team has the defense that really is kind of making it difficult for their quarterback or just getting an extra possession or just getting that little bit better field position um going into the into an offensive Drive where now it’s just like great that was an easy touchdown you know got him off the field put the defense back on let’s go right like those are the little things that really like you you don’t maybe recognize it in the moment but then in hindsight you’re like oh my God that was so key that one possession where they went three and out and they got the ball on the 50 you know that was an easy three points right there just in a second that matters and we see these games are being decided by three points you know like in the last second so all of it is going to to kind of come to fruition and it’s just going to be which team can is most organized can can plan the best and do those little things and again under that logic like it’s hard to then say Oh will the Packers have a deficit or they’re not going to be you know at the top of the list for those things because I think Matt laflor and that young team they all trust each other they all care about each other they’re connect they’re a very connected locker room which also really really matters um and again under the leadership of Matt laflor I just think that they they have that going for them tremendously so this is definitely the group of teams that I am most excited to watch I just I just I genuinely cannot wait I genuinely cannot wait because I just think it’s just going to be can’t miss TV I feel like I’ve said that like a hundred times now because it is like it’s just it’s just you can make an entire Hard Knock show like just about these teams and it would just be like it would be unbelievable because there’s just so much at stake and I believe all of these teams genuinely have the opportunity to win a Super Bowl and they all genuinely believe that their time is now they all believe it they’re none of them are like we’re just happy to be here we’re just playing with house money it’s no we are here let’s go
