2 hit Whit released and KK waivers in the same week
Feels like the handsome quotient in the league is diminishing
He’s been washed since last year. Let’s not go down this road
Baseball is crazy, all star to released in less than a year
Life comes at you fast. This time last year, he was making travel arrangements for the All-Star game.
2-hit Whit went to 0-hit Whit.
It’s hard to retire! But it’s time
I like what I’m seeing with Jimenez so far and would prefer to let the kids play more. I would hate to see them bring in Whit only to have it take at bats away from Leo, Spencer, Ernie, and Davis.
I’m sad to see this- but it’s not entirely surprising. Overall hitting is down across the league and some of last year’s superstars are really struggling (J. Rod, Corbin Carroll, Bo, Arozarena, Rizzo etc…) so if these guys are struggling then guys who are typically average will be quite below (sorry Biggio)
I totally forgot Whit was actually playing baseball this year with how non-existent his name has been.
The writing was always on the wall that last season wasn’t sustainable but **yeesh** has he been bad this year.
