  1. These games are so damn frustrating. Only silver lining is that Sal did some really nice stuff tonight

  2. Signs of a slumping team: runner on first nobody out multiple innings, can’t even get to 2nd when the team is second in league in steals.

Still gonna be 5 games up after tonight which is one of the bigger division leads, but even the METS are within 5 games. I still think the NL will beat each other up, but do not let this get tight.

    This stinks. Goodnight

  3. Worst stretch of the season by far. Gotta take the series and get some momentum into the break and get healthy again and I guarantee we come out the break hot.

  4. I know Winker didn’t single-handedly beat us, but it annoyingly felt that way

  5. Can’t think of any positives to this team right now so I’ll just leave it at that.

  6. Why does it look like we’re playing with the mindset of “let’s just get to break” yeah I know we are about get important bullpen pieces back during the break but god damn do something. We can’t give all these teams in our division an ounce of confidence that they can come back

  7. i like not close to the All Star break Brewers better

    It’s fine we’re still rolling

  8. Frustrating game to watch. The Nats made some great plays on defense the back half of the game that quashed any potential spark

  9. Facing a team on a six game losing streak whose pitcher had a 9.0 ERA, I knew this game was ripe for going the way it did. Feels like fait accompli.

  10. Sal Frelick was great. Freddy Peralta was terrible. (Not the worst he’s ever been, but more than bad enough.) Jesse Winker could’ve beaten us by himself, it looked like…just sad.

We can’t get to the All-Star break fast enough. (At least Milner and Payamps looked good tonight. Much improved.)
