[Nicholas Cloutier] Ivan Demidov is not at the SKA development camp today because he is still recovering from an injury, his agent Dan Milstein confirms to me.

  1. I guess that ankle injury was a little nastier than advertised. Glad he’s not rushing it.

  2. Habs prospect rite of passage. Maybe drafting one that was already injured can reverse the curse ?

  3. At the draft he said he’d start skating in around a week so it’s not too surprising, hopefully he’s good to go when their preseason games start.

  5. This contradicts my hopes of Hughes working behind the scene to bring him home this summer. therefore it is wrong.

  6. Millstein isn’t a reliable source fwiw. He really tows the party line for khl teams in order to get them as clients. But yeah he’s prob just got a small injury.
