  1. Thank you lego, for acknowledging it, and not judging for it, We who come back to your video's know this about you and it's how you attract viewers and let's face it it is nice to talk hockey in mid July.

I personally tend to disregard news about what a player said or did not say, it's too easy to paint words in certain context when you clip for only a portion of an interview and I don't know the guy personally. We fans like to make storms out of nothing.
As long as management is fine with him I'm good as well. The trade was fair in my eyes yes habs paid a bit more but that was fine we have capital to spend and the GM's did not make the deal which is also fine by me

  2. Good on you for clarifying his position, but 95% of the fans will won't see this video and will still remember the previous negative click bait stories. The Canadiens should set the record straight if they haven't already

  3. I personally like Mesar. What he supposedly said about his teammates was awkward, he is young and feels the pressure.. anyhow I wouldn't make a big fuss about that. It is clear that he is a good guy. He represented his country very well in the world tournament and was one of the best players. Mesar impressed me a lot at his first showing in the pre-season training camp. He is a fast paced player. He must play with linemates who can react fast and make sense of the opportunities created by Mesar's dangles and puck moving skills. My take on Mesar is that he is good at creating chaos inside the opponent's zone, but he needs the linemates that can capitalize on it, and transform the chaos into goals. I also think that he needs to have one or two big players on his trio, who can win board battles and feed him the puck. There will be talented players in the Rocket next season. I am very much interested to see how the Rocket will use Mesar, and would love to see him thrive and find his place.

  4. There should be some simple facts surrounding that draft year.
First up Lego fabricated the outlining parts of this story to create drama like he always does and looks for.
So in the first training camp Mesar played much better than Slafkovsky and Slaf actually played poorly and SHOULD not have made the team whiel mesar should have been a high consideration to make the team.
The problem is the way the rules work it is easy to send down a rookie he doesn't have to clear waivers etc etc.The reason Slaf made the team imo was because he was the first overall pick and management did not want to look bad so gifted Slaf a spot.
Right now Mesar skates very well he does understand the game well but he plays a small game something that will make it very tough for him to make the team as it wil be for Beck and kidney.
However if we simply look at how Gallagher plays a "small game" always knocked around mesar coudl certainly do no worse but again there are rules to who makes it and who doesn't.

  5. I dont know who was actually dumb enough to think that he didn't show up to camp because he was frustrated or something when literally every player that was outside of Canada or the USA were told to not come, why would Mesar be the only exception?

  6. If he's coming out to "clear the air", the best money is on the fact that he DID say something similar. A LOT of entitlement lately with this latest gen… Gauthier, McGroady and probably Mesar.

  7. Do you know what a playmaker is? Playmakers usually tend to pass the puck more than they shoot. Therefore they heavelly depend on their teammates to score the goals they setup for them
