Ivan Demidov – Superstar Level Creativity and Details + Scouting Report
In this episode of The Two-Line Pass, I’ll breakdown some of the remarkably advanced techniques of Montreal Canadiens (#gohabsgo ) 1st round pick, 5th overall pick Ivan Demidov from the 2024 NHL Entry Draft (#nhldraft2024 ). I’ll take a look at his pass-catch process, his skill chaining, and his overall thoughtfulness for the game while offering something of a scouting report.
I also talk about the inevitable comparison between him and Philadelphia Flyers (#letsgoflyers ) draft pick Matvei Michkov.

Omg I just asked for this video on the Levshunov video lmao
Love the videos man. Never got too deep into hockey in my youth and these reviews really help open my eyes to performance and value outside of just points. Excited to see Demidov and some of the other top prospects grow over the next few years. 👍
Thank you for your video analysis. I really like the way you breakdown the game. I’d like to see 2025 prospects in the next year.
best breakdown I've seen on Demidov, thanks brother
3:50 needs to be a backhand across, your love for Demidov is incorrect, he's a skill/speed guy, not a thinker.
I asked and you delivered, thank you 😊.
Sad thing is, Habs could have had both michkov, and demidov, but they have reinbacher instead…💩
Seriously, what a fantastic breakdown. Subbed
Thanks a lot for your time and effort for this analysis, it was very exciting. Thanks for listening to the users feedbacks 🙂 I think that I was one of them requesting to make one for Demidov and you did 🙂
sick breakdown nice
mtl est en businesss hhe le bleu blanc rouge ca va faire des ravage bientot
Great breakdown
Really enjoyed this. Nicely done. I like both him and Michkov a lot. Judging by how high Levshunov went, I understand the Reinbacher pick. I think the Habs were also spooked over some of the drama surrounding Michkov. And Demidov seems pretty solid that way. He's excited to play with the pressure of playing in Montreal. It's going to be rocking at the Bell center.
Fantastic work man
