7. Crazy thought. Price ltir contract doesn’t count against the cap because he returns for 1M 1 year deal to play forward. He seems to have good hands and can shoot. Maybe he can run over Kreider one more time. 😂 I wonder how fast Price can skate..

9. Last year , Caufield was supposed to get at least 40 until you factor in the surgery. He’s doing it this year. Anywhere from 40-60 goals.

10. Laine is the one for me. If he gets back to the level we know he can play at then win win. If he fails just let him go UFA but if he succeeds sign him and if he doesn’t like Montreal trade before he foes UFA. I know it’s a gamble but if this was poker I couldn’t get my money in fast enough. Then we should go back after McGroerty I hate saying this but would use Beck and Barron😂

14. I always liked Carey Price but if he's the "team first" guy they keep saying he is and he's never going to play again, why doesn't he retire to save the team some cap space?

16. Josh & Jesse, Lets hope Kirby plays a full season before predicting 60 points. He is returning from major surgery and has suffered many injuries in his 5 years in the NHL. Of a possible 410 games, he has only played in 212 (slightly over 50%), which has hampered his development.

    I hope you are right in predicting Slaf, Suzuki, Caufield and Dach will have career seasons however Habs need 4 good lines to help make the 1st line more effective.

    As for Demidov, too much is being put on him should he arrive this year. Coming to this market as an 18 year old from Russia will take him time to transition. It would be great if a fellow Russian would be around. Markov has a young family however given Habs PP has been terrible for years wouldn't it be wonderful if he joined the team as the PP coach?

17. The Habs will be pushing for the last playoff spot. It's not important to make it 24-25, but watch out the next year

30. What are your assessment and predictions for our top 2 offensive D for this coming season, Matheson and Hutson, assuming Hutson will make the team? I personally predict 68 points for Matheson and 51 points for Hutson (finalist for the Calder)

31. When Demidov shows up, he will play with Suzuki/Caufield. Slaf/Dach/Roy will be the 1b line. Then we will be a terror!

I personally think that all 3 bold predictions are all not happening this year but next year is so much more likely the habs will have 3 retention spots so trading anderson is almost 100% guaranteed then with only 2 years left makes more sense, trading for marner lmfao its not happening and trading the price’s contract is also more likely next year after his last signing bonus is payed out

38. How about brining in another Russian player …like Arther Kaliyev …to play along side Demidov .!! Kaliyev has scoring talent and it might be just the setting for him .!!! He is 6'2" …200 lbs. And had a 102 pt. Season with The Bulldogs !!
