Imagine a Calder race with Michkov, Celebrini, Smith, Gauthier, Hutson, Stankoven …… and maybe now Demidov !!!!
It’s a good way to ruin a prospect it’s the NHL not the SKA or AHL of WHL rushing a prospect is stupid would ruin his confidence
OMG! No answers to the question we've all asked 20 times already! Such progress!
He can play this season once KHL is done so either way he’ll play in Montreal next season
Demidov is 6’ 190 lbs
Jack Hughes was what 170 soaking wet his rookie year ?
He could physically play in NHL
Whether the smaller ice and competition overwhelms him is a different question
They just have to do like the Flyers with Michkov, payoff the right person and Demidov will be released from his contract. Russians are cash strapped right now with the sanctions and all so money can open a lot of doors in Russia.
My understanding is that if he doesn’t play in the khl they will let him be bought out as he has one yr left anyway and for Mtl part if he doesn’t play in the khl his development won’t be great so bring him over
So why would he even be good enough to play anywhere near Montreal caliber hockey if he can't even play above MHL level?????😮😮🎉
The Habs did well with Slaf’s development so they should know what to do with IV
Cost Philly 1 mil to get Michkov out of a 2 year contract. Give SKA what they want for Demidov 🎉 get him over here ASAP to Laval or MTL
