#justinsteele surely wasn’t the #chicagocubs problem is yet, another low scoring loss to the #brewers. #kap calls it a ‘flat out embarrassment’ as the offense continues to struggle and #jedhoyer and the front office twiddle their thumbs. They scored just 9 runs in a 6 game homestand in what’s become a very frustrating stretch that’s seen the pitching toss a 2.17 ERA the last 17 games, which is best in #mlb

Kap says enough is enough. While other teams have shown accountability like the #rangers and #padres, the Cubs have dug a hole so deep, it appears they’ll just be playing out the string if this continues.

If you as a GM, still lose to one of your division rivals who loss some of their best starting pitching and probably the best manager they ever had and they still got winning record against the cubs, you as a GM deserve to be fired Jed for building this mess, Jed. I feel like brewers lost much more in the offseason and still became better than the cubs. To me that is fireable as a GM for this mess.

  2. And it's not like we haven't been patient with Jed since he took over. We was promised wild card or playoffs this season. I feel Brewers lost much more in the offseason and still became better than the Cubs. In cases, as a GM you take blame in for this mess. David Ross never got any excuses and was canned. Jed Hoyer definitely deserves some blame for this mess of a team. And when you see his interviews and seeing he still in denial about this team, HE HAS TO GO. ITS NOT WORKING!

  5. I’m done with Counsell until he holds team and umpires accountable. Risk getting thrown out. He wasn’t the difference in Milwaukee. They are better without him and still $100,000,000 cheaper and in first place. At least we have Miles Mastrobuoni.

Daily reminder: the organization who just hired their manager from their division rival because they won so many close games lost back to back 1 run games against said team and is 11 games behind that organization whose payroll is also $130 million lower. William Contreras’ celebration at the end was the cherry on top.

    19th blown save and 21st one run loss. I’m mad more at myself for ever believing this dumpster fire organization was ever serious about winning after 2016. I’m going on vacation tomorrow so I won’t comment about how bad the Cubs are for everyone who thinks I’m a broken record. 8 days until Bears preseason starts but we know they won’t do shit either.

    Trade everyone away. Or don’t, the Cubs won’t win anything anyways
