Brewers fans, rejoice: There might be another Fielder on the way to Milwaukee.
According to Ken Rosenthal of The Athletic, the Brewers have signed 19-year-old Jadyn Fielder — the son of 12-year MLB veteran Prince Fielder — after Jadyn was not selected in the 2024 MLB Draft. Jadyn played high school baseball at TNXL Academy in Ocoee, Fla., and participated in the 2024 MLB Draft League with the Frederick Keys.
While Prince Fielder played exclusively at first base, his son plays second and third. Jadyn could make it three generations of Fielders to make it to the Majors, joining his father and his grandfather, Cecil Fielder. Between them, Prince and Cecil Fielder combined for nine All-Star selections, including Prince’s nods in 2007, 2009 and 2011 with the Brewers.
2011 was Prince Fielder’s final year with Milwaukee after he was a first-round Draft pick in 2002, but he went on to success with the Tigers (his father’s primary club) and the Rangers. Just like Prince played for his dad’s old team, Jadyn now has a chance to be the latest Fielder to don a Brewers jersey.

Yea I saw that tweet. It would be cool to see Prince around again more, hope it works out
Sick, Prince is my favorite player. I was hoping we’d draft or sign his kid.
Are there any current players whose father and grandfather played in the MLB?
This makes me feel super old. Like ancient. I still remember watching him do interviews with his kids around when he was a player. They were tiny then.
Spitting image!
Is he good?
