Just bought my ticket to go catch the Crew in ATL next Thursday. Sorry in advance, they will lose.
Seen them in person 6 times and they’ve lost every single one 😤
O no. A SP that the Brewers batters should be able to shell, but we have been here so many times. Lets hope the offense carries over from last night.
Welcome back Ross… tough task to face a good offense right off the bat.
We got this… maybe.
Mets fan here visiting family in WI so figured we’d catch a couple of games, hoping you can do us another favour tonight!
Anyone want my tickets for tonight’s game? We just had something come up last minute. 3 tickets and a parking pass. **Claimed

Surprised they want Ross to start right away again. He is the type where he goes 3 solid innings and then its really touch and go. Think he’d find much more success in the now vacant Junis role
I’m Am Fammin and Slam Clammin today, let’s get a W plz n thnx
When is last call for the trade deadline? Do they have til midnight?
MLB needs to delay the end of the season by 2 games and add an extra off day for everyone after the (what was) second-to-last day before the deadline and the actual trade deadline. To let everyone that was traded reach their new team. We are going into the game tonight with 12 pitchers because Junis is already on the way to Cincy but Montas isn’t here yet. So basically:
Game day
Off day
Trade deadline day (game day)
Off day
Of course everyone traded will leave for their new team as fast as possible but the two off days decrease the chance of the teams going into games with less than 26 available players.
Damn I just want one hitter. This lineup isn’t promising as is for a playoff series. Also a utility guy would be ideal. Mona does not cut it.
5 minutes let’s see if we can make something happen
Flaherty to dodgers
Jack Flaherty to the Los Angeles Dodgers..
I would consider the Dodgers a top 5 favorite team of mine but it’s actually getting kind of annoying that they trade for literally every good player on the market
Unless some news trickles out in the next few minutes prepare for “We had a lot of conversations and were looking for ways to upgrade the roster without compromising the future. Nothing came together but we are happy with the ball club that we have and are still confident in our ability to compete for a title.”
At least we added Devin Williams at the deadline! It’s like we traded for him!!! Haha right guys!!! …right…. Guys?
I hate that this org refuses to even try to go all in. The window where this division is easily winnable is closing so fast and look what the dodgers gave up for Flaherty, like basically fuckin nothing
Canha to the Giants
The Dodgers GM must have footage of rival GMs fucking a goat or something. So annoying.
#I’M ALL OUT OF THE DEVIL’S DANDRUFF AND I’M SHAKING LIKE AN ANGRY VIBRATOR!!!
Well Burnes, Woodruff, and Peralta in the playoffs as starters never won us a round. (Injuries last year hurt) So Rea, Meyers, and whoever is hot can’t do any worse. A fully healthy bullpen is elite so there’s that. Playoff success is all on the offense if they show up we can go far I do believe it.
I would bet good money we lose 7-8 of the next 10 now. Completely deflating for the players. Front office clearly doesn’t believe we are going anywhere, and if you don’t think the players feel that you’re crazy.
All things considered, I’m actually pretty happy with the Brewers trades. Civale, Mears, and Montas will all contribute to the team down the stretch. Our stud just got promoted to Nashville. Woody will be back next year. Maybe Gasser is back next year if his elbow is good. I love this team no matter what.
Nothing is guaranteed. I don’t mind going all in this year especially with all the injuries we’ve had to endure. Next year hopefully this time we’ll have gasser and ski dealing and can trade for a piece to make a further push. But I’m excited to see how far we can go with these average joes!
Since they clearly don’t plan on winning anything serious this year, it also becomes even stupider that we didn’t trade Willy or Devin.
While I’ve given up on hoping for either the Brewers or Packers to ever go in on a big trade, it’s still disappointing. Certainly not the-season-is-over-fire-everyone disappointing, but it’d be fun to make a push at least once in a while.
Came to the Game Thread and a Trade Deadline thread broke out.
This was/is a rebuilding year. To be as good as we are is a surprise to most everyone. So I’m okay with not trading away the future.
To those saying we haven’t gone all in in the past: I disagree. Moustakas, Schoop (lol) and others have been big deals at the time.
I’m disappointed just like some, but some of you people are ridiculous.
This team has managed to lose Hader, burnes, woodruff, counsell, Braun (was playing high quality ball before retirement), stearns, had major injuries to their superstar they signed long term (Yelich), had some mega busts on young players, Keston, Ashby, and still manage to compete every single year. Why? Because they never blow a load at the deadline.
The last time they seriously were a part of a mid season blockbuster (sabathia) they managed to win a single playoff game and be irrelevant for 2 seasons following.
I’m NOT saying I’m not disappointed (especially the flaherty return). But outside of him, who did you realistically want? How do we know they didn’t make offers?
And although civale, mears, and montas are underwhelming, it would look a lot different if they acquired all 3 today instead of throughout the course of a month.
There’s my coping Ted talk. Cheers to a 7 game division lead in a season we were Vegas over/under mid 70’s.
Anyone watching Burnes pitch right now?
The lack of any moves makes me think Yeli was a big part of their plan (if they were going to make a splash) until he got hurt.
I have a feeling we’re going to have a nice fresh batch of copypastas on our hands soon.
I wonder what Tigers were interested in from the Brewers that caused the latter to pass.
What’s everyone drinking tonight?
I’m keeping with the Wisconsin beer luck and a new Glarus milk chocolate stout. Sweet and dark. Yum.
mornin’, everyone
