Another pathetic night for a pathetic roster and pathetically run organization
Most disappointing Cubs team I’ve seen in over a decade
Jed Hoyer has ruined any chance I had of enjoying the rest of the season
Morel and Bigge looking great right away is just…..chefs kiss
Nice try by our favorite team, hope we get’em next time
Loving this team is painful when they kick you in the teeth like this
34-49 since 17-9
These are not serious people
This team is just so mentally weak, and scare no one. Teams look forward to playing the Cubs.
We will not be back this season boys, pack it up and enjoy the bears
If you cant beat the Reds and Pirates, how do you expect to eventually make the playoffs?
Can’t wait for 8 of that starting 9 to come back next year so we can watch it all again.
Yeah, the loss stings, but look on the bright side, because of Jed’s masterful contract work we get to watch almost this exact team for two more years!
New guy embracing the suck lol
The Reds broadcast down south said Paredas batting average is .098 worst in majors in July. That’s who we went for at trade deadline

This is rough
Win a series against the royals, lose a series against the reds. 1 step forward, 2 steps backwards: story of the season.
Ladies and gentlemen, your 2012 Chicago Cubs
Fuck Jed Hoyer.
Second verse,
Same as the first
I want Tom to take every single penny he is currently allotting to: buying buildings, opening hotels, donating to political candidates, and reserving to buy soccer teams, and re-allot it to the budget for the major league roster. Right the hell now.
Another non competitive season. Not counting the wonky Covid year, what’s that, 5 years now?
I will continue to watch/listen to every game 🙁

Thank god football is around the corner
All of our starters imploding at the same time sure helps.
Jed is a genius
