Players may be Canadian for the most part, but the FO is American.
Could you do a video on SKA St Petersburg KHL team? They always seem to be getting the top end talent when they leave the NHL and I’m curious how many stars they’ve had
The picture of Barkov and the Keeper sitting while the skater jumps over the Cup is an absolute beauty. Go Cats!
Analytics can't come slowly enough for me.
It's trying to replicate innate, unique talent with a "standard" methodology. Look how boring baseball has become, pro football can't be played without memorizing phone-book-sized playbooks, and tennis now allows coaches to micro-manage their players' "IRL, DURING PLAY!
Big money is the root of the other sports' analytics overload, so if hockey "lags behind" in analytics relative to the other major sports, it's only because it hasn't reached the level of $20M + / annum yet…
…but don't worry: green (read: greed) will win out over sport purity. It's inevitable, unfortunately.
Obviously they next acquire Geekie and Cooley so the Habs will have a line that destroys play by play announcers.
🥅🏒
skatrers do this sort of stunt all the time. Pros are insanely good at knowing when they are or aren't going to clear something. They bail early so minimal damage will occur to them or the objet d'ollie 😉
No buttman on screen and kitty playing in the back, you get a like and a subscribe. Subscription are useless for us with the way the YT algorythm works, but if you keep that picture of that damn commissioner out and kitty in, you deserve it.
I feel like it's going to be a tough year for Flames fans. I hope they can turn it around quickly though.
😂 Barron is going to be really good. He's still only 22!
Love that jersey
The Chiefs pennant looks good back there. It just came out that Spokane will be bidding on hosting the 2026 Memorial Cup. Hopefully they can get that here again. Cheers
I tried skateboarding in the late 90s, my senior year in high school. I walked away from it with a jammed thumb and sprained wrist when I fell off. Needless to say, it was something I never did again. The moral of the story? If you have balance issues, probably avoid things that'll put you off-balance.
Guhle deserves $5.5 for that fantastic hair alone! 😉
HuGo getting things done quickly, great to see.
it's pronounced goulé! (just kidding)
People say the cup is not going to Canada because a Canadian team didn’t win it. Sure there might be individual players who bring it to Canada, but that’s not the team, that’s just individuals. Idc if a couple people bring it to Canada, have an entire team bring it to Canada.
Trend continues, teams locking up young D-men. Who will be next?
Maybe Utah should also take a page from Capitals' books by buying out Cap Wages. Great investment to purchase publically available information.
Awesome work being done by habs management Guhle is a important piece going forward with the rebuild
Don't know if this was mentioned in a news video but goalie prospect Sergei Murashov signed his elc with the Pens yesterday.
Drury should be embarrassed that he couldn't get a similar deal (to Guhle's) done for Lindgren
Martin Jones could be a guy for the Flames to give a one year deal. A veteran that can chug some minutes but also give room for Vladar and Wolf, and a possible guy to flip for a late round pick at the deadline. It's free real estate.
Guhle's contract will age well for the Habs.
Hey brobro post a video I'm bored
Meaty previews? Yes please
Like the Wolf signing
The Wolf's deal looks like Calgary tries to protect him. If this season goes badly (probably), they can sign a vet goalie as a placeholder and he can spend a better time in the AHL and next season Calgary will get better (???). maybe.
People have to realize that it’s easier to trade players when they have some term on a contract, rather than being a RFA or FA when you trade for them. Especially in this Cap Era.
Analytics: Numbers lie and liers figure.
325k mileage wends on…🛣️🥅🏒👑✅
The thumbnails on this and the 1966 history video can't be a coincidence, right? They look almost identical.
I'm kind of surprised that nobody ever thought to get Tony Hawk to jump over the Stanley Cup back when he was still in his prime. Missed opportunity by the NHL on that one.
Some interesting facts about Kuznetsov contract with SKA
base salary – ca. 580k for 24/25, 1 mil for next 3 season
BONUSES : if KUZY
Top-3 inh KHL in Points – 3.5 mil
Top-3 in KHL in Goals – 3.5 mil
Top-3 in KHL in +/- – 3.5 mil
if SKA wins KHL – 1.15 mil
So theoretically Kuzy can make 12.6 mil USD in year
It's 10.3 mil after taxes
