Man Zach Lowe losing his shit over the Thunder acquiring Hayward as their “missing piece” just keeps aging worse and worse lmao
Do we get our money back or?
I love that Mitch Kupchak’s final move ever as a professional GM was clowning Sam Presti
I know it happened when he was on the celtics but I’ll never get the image of that man’s ankle breaking on tv out of my head.
Glad you were on our team, Gordo. Loved how you played. Best of luck to you and your lovely family.
His descent this past season from solid NBA player to completely washed within a matter of months was one if the quickest I’ve ever seen. I suppose that’s injuries for you
Considering contracts in the NBA right now, kinda wild. I know dude has some serious cash already but he could still fetch 10-15mm in today’s pay to be a role player on a good team.
Was never super excited about having him on the team. A guaranteed shortened season every season. But glad to see he had somewhat of a long career. Now I believe only Paul George remains from their draft class.
Can we consider him as our ‘best glue guy who failed’? Or is it still Boris Diaw? Lol
Kind of crazy considering he was still a decent starter for a decent portion of last season. I imagine getting glued to the bench on a contender was a gut punch though and the constant injuries/rehabbing has gotta be a killer. He had a great career and was paid handsomely for it though, I really enjoyed the glimpses of prime Hayward we got in his time here.
Pretty sure he bought one of the huge houses on Carmel CC golf course. Wonder if he’s planning to put down roots in Charlotte.
No team really could’ve offered him the minimum?
We had a lot of winning (relative for this franchise) when he was healthy. Wish we could have gotten a couple of seasons where he played 65+ games.
he was a solid player that could get you at least 15 on any given night WHEN healthy. It was a shame that injuries plagued him. Was truly one of the better players in the league at knowing their spots and how to get to them
He retired years ago imo.
He was decent with us when he was healthy and he always seemed like a really nice guy. I got nothing bad to say about Gordo and hope he enjoys retirement
One of the biggest disappointments, but dude made millions being injured.
Gordon was a great teammate who basically had to get murdered to get a call from the refs. It’s a shame cuz he really could have been a great player if it wasn’t for injuries. Enjoy retirement gordo.
Ill always have a huge soft spot in my heart for Gordon Hayward after he missed the half court shot against duke in the national championship
Good riddance. Biggest overpay in the nba. Zero veteran presence in Charlotte.

Thanks for absolutely nothing.
