  4. He also said he models parts of his game off of Scott Stevens, he’s a long shot to make the NHL but I’m excited to keep tabs on him regardless.

    A kid that I have my eye on ( cuz he my little nephew ) is Mackenzie Curd.

    He just signed over in Germany this summer.

    The kid is a beast at 6’9 and 245. He was playing for the Erie Otters last season but these massive growth spurts have taken a toll on his skating. He has to relearn how to be smooth again with his new 6’9 frame. He will be a late bloomer to watch.

    Kid just turned 17 and plays like this guy Owen Protz but at 6’9 250ish. 😂

    Side note…Curd and Protz sound like a really cool defense pairing.
