  1. Proud of you Chuck for admitting that Freddy is struggling. This statistic based narrative is not taking into account how badly he struggles in spots. He is a starter & Freddy can win games but he is NOT AN ACE at least not this season. He has the stuff but is often leaving BEACH BALLS over the plate and getting owned. #ThisIsMyCrew #GoBrewers

  2. Wow those were some ugly ABs by Contreras today. As for Adames, he's quite good in the clutch, but he's gotta be the absolute worst hitter in sac fly situations. Early in the year, I said he was 0 for 99 in sac flies. I think I was quite accurate.

  3. The Skipper Pat Murphy installed the Brewers "Smash 'n' Bash" lineup against Chris Sale. That was good to see because it is sometimes very hard to beat a pitcher like Sale by playing "small ball". Way to go Crew!

  4. Keep the faith . I would still rather be us than the others in the division. And as proven in previous years, get in, get hot.

  7. Bench on the rubber game: Sanchez ( Hit well yesterday and previous day, but Haas needs another try.) Monesterio ( Had good day yesterday, but overall numbers don't warrant anything steady. Turang is leadoff today!) Hoskins ( righty/lefty situation where it makes more sense to start Bauers) Hoskins has a hitting streak on the line though. Perkins ( Somebody had to sit. Perkins was great yesterday, but there are only 3 outfield spots.)

  8. Regarding Freddy – Did anybody actually expect a guy forced into the role to perform like an ace? He has done as well as anybody else would have at the top of the rotation given the loss of Burnes and Woodruff. It will be a season of "ifs" again next season – IF Woody can return to form and be that ace, IF Meyers isn't a flash in the pan, IF Gasser returns mid season and picks up where he left off, IF DL Hall turns into a reliable starter as intended from the trade, IF Misiorowski earns a spot and delivers, IF Rea can provide another strong season. I don't know what the future plans are for Civale and Montas, maybe they're in the mix, but they seem like 2024 band aids to me. The rotation could be very solid next year IF things fall into place.
