Jackson Chourio Appreciation Post

Friends, I think he's pretty good.

Just look at those monthly splits! Slugging north of .800 since June. And while he's got a noodle for an arm, his defense range is above solid too.

I think I'm in love.

  1. Amazing. I was just looking over his stats because he’s on fire. Since June he’s hitting over .315. Far cry from the .206 earlier this year. Learning as he goes and he’s picking it up fast. Future is so bright, but can’t wait

  2. His June & July numbers being so consistent is great to see. Feels like that’s proof that he’s figuring it out and that his dramatic uptick in production wasn’t due to a fluke hot streak.

  3. And everyone was so worried about who would pick up their game when Yelich got hurt. I think we have our guy

  4. I must admit I wrote him off and wanted him to get sent down but man he’s proved me wrong and he’s been playing spectacular you can see why they gave him the contact.

  5. I think June and July chourio is who he will be in the future. Consistently. .800-.900 ops guy with above average fielding and baserunning. A real star

  6. Absolutely wild that he basically does this at every level. Always takes him a little bit to get acclimated and he starts slow and then just turns into a stud.

  7. The lid is officially off on his potential! The possibility is in play that it took him about 60 games to figure it all out at the MLB level and he just might rip off a run of dominance akin to early Mike Trout. I’m going to be rooting like hell he does and enjoying this special ride we all get to go on.
