3. I’ll be a bit surprised if he does not make it in St-Petersburg this year. I tough after what Hughes said at the draft, the Canadiens really wanted him to be there or else… I guess it was not an option to buy him out of SKA at all?

   Or maybe he just does not want to say he will make the team for sure to sound cocky or something? There was rumors that after all the signature that happened that he would be left out and I did not trust them but now after the interview…

   Very mature responses, clearly has the loyalty to want to play out his contract, doesn’t feel entitled to ice time like you kept hearing the rumors about Michkov

   We’ll just have to hope that his talent and determination rightfully earns him that spot on SKA and that they don’t intentionally keep him out because he’s made it clear he’s leaving next year
