I have some remindme alerts coming up from preseason Cubs fans.
They were so sure they would win the division with their new manager and better luck.
It’s an older meme sir, but it checks out.
The Brewers have the biggest lead in any division 🙂
Season after season…
They hate us because they ain’t us.
Sure, while we are in a good spot right now to win the division without a doubt, the one thing that worries me a slight bit is how we’ll hold up Yelich now being out the remainder of the year
That being said, we’ve really been able to hold our own with the many long term injuries we’ve had this year, so we’ll see what happens come October
Just gotta get hot in October with this comfy division lead
There will always be something to worry about. Let’s enjoy watching the young guys play their fricken asses off each and every game like they were playing for neighborhood bragging rights! The chemistry this year is unbelievable. It’s like the Packers infected the Brewers with the Big Pride Never Quit Pick your Teammate Up Virus! Most entertaining season since that stretch with Davie May and Johnny Briggs , Jim Slaton and Jim Colborn & who could forget Pedro Garcia? They went went on a hot streak of 10 straight in ’73 and listening to them then and now by the radio at night to each game seems remarkably similar. But they are better now than then obviously!!!!Man.. am I ever an old Grandpa telling WW2 stories right???! Hah, hell we would deliver the Sentinel early Saturday or tge Journal on the Sunday delivery back then and just stay up, go to the 6:30am Blessed Sacrament Mass and keep walking past Jackson Park till we hit County Stadium and watch the game. WOW. Brewers are buttoned up, like their energy, like the coach, still live the city though I live in The Heights now. Go Brew Crew! Go Pack Baby! Go Milwaukee!
Could also replace “MLB experts” with “injuries”
Hey Verne! If Jackson Chourio played for the Yankees he would be a huge star already.
This has me fucking geeking
We have the largest division lead in all of baseball
