2024-25 San Jose Sharks Season Preview

The Sharks should improve this season, though they really can only go up from where they were last season.

  1. OT: Hi Shannon,
I just went over the DEL acquisitions for every team and I'm curious. Can you tell me something about Nick Cicek from Abbotsford? What kind of player is he and what can Mannheim expect from him? Also is Cory Haiskanen related to the other Haiskanen guy in the NHL?

    Thank you in advance!

    Another majestic video. Thumbs up!

  2. I did I preview for the Pacific division on the Canucks subreddit and my breakdown for the Sharks was, "Who cares?" They could double their point total and still miss the playoffs, they have no retention slots to weaponize their cap space, and not enough early draft picks to upgrade quickly. They are screwed this season and likely next season.

  3. 11:27 "Seven of their first eight games are on the road." I think you missed their first two regular season games 10/10 vs STL and 10/12 vs ANA which are at home. After that they have the stretch of seven out of eight on the road.
