At least we’re hitting homers now
At least Tim, Evanka, Madison, and Jamie are a great group post-game
Cannot believe I stayed until the final pitch, but I hate leaving ball games early, so it is what it is.
I’m just going to assume they let the Reds win for Joey Votto
Need Jon Schneider and Atkins to be gone by next year
This feels a bit like karma for the way we laughed at the yanks losing 1000-2 to the white Sox the other day
The early on power surge was nice, those first three innings seem like a lifetime ago .
Ready for this season to be over.
Atrocious bullpen performance tonight by everyone involved outside of Green.
This team has at most 5 MLB caliber pitchers. Yes, we need a couple bats but there’s no winning with the 28th best pitching staff in baseball
I liked the beginning of the game better than the rest of it.
Every time you think this team can’t go lower, they prove you wrong and go lower.
lol another pathetic job
Fired!
Announced his retirement after not getting brought up after his great career, and the Jays didn’t get it done, in the only opportunity they had.
Hello darkness my old friend….
I saw the first three innings and everything was good, I went out when it was 6-0 for the Jays. WTF??!!
This bullpen makes me sick. Leave it to that sh*tshow to blow a 6-0 lead and lose 6-11. Gross. If FO doesn’t address this basement bullpen I don’t want to watch this team next year. WTF ATKINS!!!!
And set Swanson’s contract on fire. I don’t ever want to see him wearing a Jays jersey again. I have absolutely had it with that sad sack.
Up 6-0 when I started work, then I see an 11-7 loss, on Votto day??!!!
Get in the bin.
I can’t really be mad at these losses from here out, it’s just a proving ground. Nice to see 7 runs and 3 homers. Not sure I would have yanked Rodriguez there given our terrible bullpen, but #5 starter vs bullpen is a tossup anyway.
It’s disappointing to see Davis peetering out though. Seemed like we might have had something for a little while there, but at this rate he’ll probably need a hell of a spring training to even make the team next year.
Losing 11-6 proves something here. Even though this rag-tag line-up can produce 6 runs in the first few innings, this management spent 33 million on a pitcher with zero stuff that can’t hold that lead. Other shit teams like the Reds and Cubs can scrape better pitchers from the bottom of the barrel better than Shatkins. I think it’s time this franchise gets a real president of operations and general manager. 10 years is enough time to prove you can’t evaluate, identify, produce, sign and develop talent.
Springer still has a lot of cockiness for a leadoff guy hitting .690 OPS. What a waste of the largest free agent contract ever for this franchise. Fringe AAA players fighting for their careers are just as valuable. More Bank commercials, patches, green screens, and total abominations of this game make it all better though. Real franchises like the Yankees walk from these disaster losers like Ellsbury and Hicks and continue to seek excellence. Loser teams like Shatkins Blue Jays keeps the dead weight and tries to sell more tickets by plastering his face all over commercials and losing games.
