  1. I wish Jordan all the best. He will be missed in MontrΓ©al. This kid is a solid stay home defenseman and will only grow into an awesome player. He will be a good positive addition to the CBJ locker room. He is a good young man… Yes, im a Hab fan.

  2. I feel for Jordan. Going from a great organization like MTL to an organization most players seem to flee like the plague can't be easy for him. You can tell it's hard for him to fake that enthusiasm.

  3. happy for him ! if he did not play 80 game in MTL its because we have 5 like him at almost same stage and 2 or 3 more up comming Hudson mailloux and Reinbacher so the ice time was tough to split beteween all these yong defenceman he will take big minutes in columbus 3rd 4th hes more then ready good luck Jordan !!

  4. Jordan Harris is a consummate professional. He just was pushed out by the many Habs young D prospects with higher ceilings. He'll be a solid 5/6 guy for many years in the NHL who can move up the lineup in a pinch. Good luck Jordan!

  5. As a montreal fan, you guys in colombus will love Harris. He's a great 2way defenseman in this league. If he's paired with a bigger and physical D in colombus you will have a great 4th or 5th defenseman for years!

  6. This guy is a beacon of light. What a gem of a guy. He β€˜gets’ it. Enjoyed his time in Montreal. He will be missed here. Best of luck to Columbus and Harris! You guys will be pleased, he continues to improve. A bit slower and can get caught sometimes, but that’s a learning curve I’m sure. I truly respect Ohio sports fans – the jackets fans deserve a fun exciting team. I think they are headed in a good direction!

  7. Wish nothing but the best for Jordan and will miss him in Montreal. I'll be rooting for him to excel in Columbus. Such a great guy and an asset to the team both on and off the ice.

  8. Going to miss him, that's the problem with having so many very good D prospects. I think he'll have a nice career. He is a well thought individual, doesn't focus on himself.

  9. i liked harris with montreal…. not specially because he was an insane player, but more for the person he seems to be. It pissed me to get him traded but i cant do nothign bout it.

Good luck harris with columbus, i enjoyed you as a montreal canadiens !

  10. One thing you notice almost immediately about Harris is that he rarely makes mistakes, and often makes the right decision in his own zone. Very capable young defender

  11. Habs fan here. I figured Harris would be the odd man out because Struble brings more physicality, which the Habs don't have that much of. However, I wish there was a way we could have held onto him.
You're getting a 24yo d-man that is responsible defensively and puts up 20 pts a season with limited minutes.
You don't notice during the game, which is actually a very good quality for a 3rd pairing dman. Its means he doesn't cough up the puck, doesn't lose his man or make poor decisions in his own zone.
In my book, any dman that can put up over 20 pts (on a full season) while playing about 15-17 minutes, and no pp minute, has offensive abilities.
Best of all, he does not look out of place while filling in on the top-4.
Also, great guy. Involved in the community. You'll like him.

  12. Harris is a good Player the Canadiens have. He has grit and Strength.

The blue Jackets will have a decent and strong Defenceman in the coming years.

He was very good with the Habs and he did alright.

    Good luck Harris!!!

  13. Best of luck to you Jordan! Columbus you are getting a solid d who can do everything well and he may not have an elite aspect but with top 4 minutes i definitely think their is more offensive upside potential to his game than many might expect.
