Made the cross-country trip to see the Crew’s final series in Oakland. The stadium is falling apart, but the crowd and fan experience was awesome!

  1. The stadium itself is (obviously) not in great condition… shattered glass on the suite windows, exposed hanging wires all over, general broken and shut down areas, the concourses smelled horrendous. But the vibe and experience was super fun. Crowd was really into it, cheering, screaming, banging drums, etc. Great, super fun game

I understand why they wanted/needed a new stadium, but it’s sad they are leaving Oakland

  2. The stadium’s guts and concourses are in rough shape, but I quite liked the field and seating areas (despite the seats being old af). Pretty good views throughout; not a bad place to catch a ball game. Especially with how much our offense was putting up!

  3. After the Bucks were on the brink of potentially leaving a few years ago, I never wish for a team to relocate. They mean too much to their respective communities. Screw John Fisher.

  4. Really cool, jealous that I won’t get that experience but glad you did! Safe travels home

  5. Used to live in the North Bay and while we were brewers fans we would often go to Oakland an SF. AT&T was much nicer than the Coliseum but the fans were always great in Oakland. We became huge fans of Jameel Weeks for that brief period hot.
