CB Bucknor umpire score card from yesterday.

It was bad. It was bad even for him. It was bad for Angel Hernandez.

  1. Series went 1-1-1 for Brewers – As – CB.

Over 2 runs difference in a 1 run game.

Edit: I know this isn’t an exact science. But that is massive by almost any measure.

  2. CB could easily be betting on games, because he’s so atrociously bad that if he swings a game, people just assume it’s his normal game

  3. A couple of those called strikes against the Crew were so far outside I was waiting for him to say “just kidding” after the punch-out.

  4. Gotta think they will go to robot balls and strikes soon. That was a real big pitch to Langeliers in the 4th and it wasn’t close

  5. Probably already decided but hopefully performances like this have kept him out of the playoff rotation this year. I don’t have time to look at if he has done it in the recent past but assume so, he is a vet

  6. That’s less than ideal for someone who’s supposed to be the best at what they do.

Everyone has off days, sure, but his history says otherwise

  7. I’m pretty chill about ump stuff, but it’s crazy that the call in the 4th possibly impacted the entire game. One out, defense then plays for double play, next batter may not have tried to ambush…chance he gets out of the jam. Early enough that we should’ve overcame it, but that’s easier said than done. Miller is absolutely filthy btw, A’s really wanted that one breaking out the 4 out save attempt.
