Ho mostrato questo video ai miei amici e ora abbiamo un nuovo rituale per ridere insieme ogni sera💞
First and big braves fan
First. Also missed the game so clicked this video ASAP
That’s what im talking about! Now they gotta come back and just get a win tomorrow. Find that consistency at the plate💯
Be consistent keep it going.
Took yall long enough lol GO BRAVES!! We look like the team we shoulda been from the start of the season tonight haha
Awesome win for the braves
Keep that way Atlanta 😎💪💪👍
Everyone who was hating on our offense holding their tongues now lol
Notes From my Brain:
– The Braves won
– That other guy is a bot and no one reads his nonsense 😂
really like seeing whit merrifield play for the braves.
Dont get all giddy about an explosion in runs for 1 game. That was an anomaly this year so far. I really hope it keeps going but I'm not going to get really excited yet. However the bullpen is still a sore spot. Pierce Johnson, Dylan Lee, Luke Jackson are not even close to getting it done. In the last 3 weeks its a guarantee that the other team will score if any of them come in the game.
Notes from the Game:
+ An Okay Outing from Fried, but I DID NOT like the way he handled the 5th. Got too scared of throwing his Fastball and got SNIFFED OUT. His Final Line: 5 Innings of 3-Run (1 Earned), 4-Hit Ball, Walking NONE and Striking Out 7. Surprisingly, he earns the VICTORY in this one, Improving Fried to 8-7 with an ERA of 3.50.
– Well, if there Bullpen was going to Struggle… I guess best we get it out of the way now than in the Postseason. Holmes, Johnson, and Lee all Struggled to FINISH the Final 4 Innings, Allowing 3 Runs on 5 Hits, Walking NONE and Striking Out 3. I did notice a Commonality though: LACK of Fastballs thrown on each hit allowed. YOUR FASTBALL SHOULD BE YOUR PRIMARY PITCH. Why are we seeing them throw it LESS?
ROTATION TOTAL: 9 Innings, 6 Runs (4 Earned), 9 Hits, NO Walks, 10 Strike Outs, 2 Home Runs Allowed.
9 Runs in the First Two Innings… 5-12 with RISP. First Time I've seen such numbers in a while.
+ THE BIG BEAR JUMP-STARTED THE OFFENSE EARLY! 2-4 with an RBI Single in the 1st and and an RBI Double in the 2nd. Ozuna holds firm with a .307 Average and .962 OPS!
+ HAVE A NIGHT, MATT OLSON! 3-5 with a THREE-RUN SUPER MISSILE INTO THE UPPER DECK IN RIGHT CENTER FIELD IN THE 1ST, a 2-Run RBI Double in the 2nd, and a Double in the 7th, Totaling 5 RBIs on the Night! Olson Steps Up to a .230 Average, .744 OPS, and 23 Home Runs on the Season!
+ D'ARNAUD WITH THE EXCLAMATION POINT! 1-5 with a TWO-RUN SUPER MISSILE INTO THE THIRD DECK DOWN THE LEFT FIELD LINE! d'Arnaud stands firm with a .252 Average, .793 OPS, and 14 Homers on the Year!
+ Orlando Arcia Finding ways to CONTRIBUTE! 1-3 with a Walk that led to him scoring on a FAILED PITCH, along with a Single in the 8th! Arcia holds onto a .226 Average and .633 OPS!
+ OTHER NOTABLES: WHIT MERRIFIELD HAD A 5-5 NIGHT, Scoring TWICE. Jorge Soler, Despite going 0-2, was Walked Twice. Gio Urshela had a 1-4 Night, being the Only Other Brave to Record a Hit. Laureano and Kelenic BOTH had Nights to Forget, Going a Combined 0-10 with 4 Ks.
+ NOT THE PRETTIEST WINS BY ANY IMAGINATION, BUT ONE I'LL HAPPILY TAKE! Fried was Efficient, the Bullpen Bent but DID NOT BREAK, The Defense Minimized Mistakes, and the Offense… AM I GLAD TO SEE IT BREAK OUT TONIGHT!
– Unfortunately, The Astros Forgot how to Hit against a Bullpen, and LOST to the Phillies in Walk-Off Fashion, Keeping the Braves at 6 Games Back of the NL East Lead.
TOMORROW:
ROUND 2 OF 3 Between the Braves and Twins will take place under the Evening Skies of Target Field.
Simeon Woods Richardson (Say that Three Times Fast) will get the Ball for the Twins, Who's had a VERY SOLID August So Far, Going 2-1 on the Month while Allowing 3 Runs or Fewer in EACH Start. He's coming off a RESPECTABLE Start against the Padres, Allowing Just 1 Run on 4 Hits, Walking 2 and Striking Out 7 in 5 Innings of Work, Earning the Win in the Process.
Meanwhile, Spencer Schwellenbach will take up Battle Stations for the Braves, Who is coming off an EXCELLENT Start against Our Divisional Nemesis, the Phillies, Allowing Just 2 Runs on 3 Hits, Walking 1 and Striking Out 9 in 6 2/3 Innings, Earning the VICTORY as a Result!
Can Schwellenbach and the Braves earn another CRUCIAL Series Win?
Or will Woods Richardson and the Twins have something to say?
We will find out at 7:40 P.M. EDT / 6:40 P.M. CDT on Bally Sports North (Twins) and Bally Sports South (Braves)!
SoundFX09, Signing Out!
1:06 That was the loudest crack of a home run I’ve heard in a long time. 3:07 Carlos Santana took a break from playing the guitar to have some of Max Fried’s frozen pizza. 😂 6:15 Ouch, you never like to see someone get hit with a battle ball much less a pitcher in his throwing hand. Hopefully it didn’t do any serious damage.
I'll just stash my beer can in this planter, they'll never know…
