I didn’t like that can that not happen again
This team can be so tiring to watch.
Some days it just be like that. Sucks to be on the receiving side of beat downs but you gotta take the good with the bad.
We’ve lost 6 of our last 8. This is our toughest stretch. It’s now or never honestly
Another day having to root against the Mariners instead of just taking care of business. Lock in plz
All I’m sayin… we’ve been loosing a lot of games since Nori’s been gone.
Who cares about the pitching when you can’t get past second base.
Thank god, football season is upon us.
So, if it wasn’t for Shay’s double yesterday. We would have been shut out back to back days. Lovely.
Losses like these are why you win games where you have the lead, like the last three losses.
This team lacks discipline. Hitters are trying to do too much, and that sequence on the Bohm flyball could’ve ended terribly.
*positive outlook comment*
Just an unlucky game at times combined with poor pitches/ABs. We had four hard hit balls that would’ve scored at least one run that either went straight to a defender or went to the warning track, two of which came with two runners on.
The bad part is that the 5-9 hitters are getting it done for us as of late, and our top guys have been quiet.
I’m concerned about JV, he’s having one of the worst seasons of his career, and his worst since 2014. His fastball has lost all zip and he’s compensating by throwing his curve which can get clobbered like tonight. It’s a bad feeling that I have more trust in Arrighetti rn than I do JV, bc at least when Arrighettis on hes ON. JV this year seems like he’s lucky to get less than 4 ER in an outing.
Edit: and by “worst” for JV I mean having a 4.30 ERA when the last time he had an ERA above 3.50 was 2014.
Only good I can find out of this is it was the first time in a while we were shut out. Last 3 L’s have been close. The division might come down to the end like last year if the boys don’t step on the gas.

As we watch the division slip away..today’s game was telling us something ain’t right with our bats right now..can’t blame the batters eye at MM 😣
I am dooming because we looked horrible today..😢

How did you get into that sorta thing?
Verlander has been starting to show his age this year. He’s been far from Ace form and is a lot closer to a 4/5 starter than I’d like him to be. It’s hard to be confident with him on the mound. Just happy it gives everyone else an extra day off
Flush it.
One pitch.
Nola’s good. Philly is a quality team and ‘22 was closer than anybody remembers.
Start with the division.
Time to have a player only meeting?
We can win with three outfielders that really can’t hit and a first baseman that can’t either. Yordan seems to be on the amend. So our lineup drops to nada fast. Dropping 60 million on Abreu killed us. We need Tucker back in the worst way. That pushes Yordan to 2, Tucker to 3, bregs to 4, and Diaz to 5. That’s two innings of decent hitting.
Welcome to the suck ass phase of Astro’s baseball. *sigh*
On the bright side of things…..at least LMC is feeling good enough to continue making HEB commercials
Im not gonna lie, we got bitched plain and simple. We need tucker back, and our guys need to wake tf up NOW.
Offense is back in the dumps. I swear we can’t score unless someone is on an absolute tear of a hot streak
