So Bryan Trottier wins for worst coach since 2000. The next one should be fun. What has been our best game since 2000?

It depends on how “best game” is defined. If “best game” is being interpreted as simply a dominant overall team performance – then I think game 3 vs Atlanta in ’07 for the first playoff win at the Garden in almost a decade deserves a shout. 7 goals and a shutout for the King
2014 ECF Game Six. One of Hank’s all-time saves, an unsung hero and an absolute *lockdown* third period performance to send the Rangers to the Final for the first time since 1994.
First Winter Classic against Philly
Islanders MetLife comeback and Rempe debut
The St. Patrick’s Day Massacre of the Flyers three years ago.
9-0
Geez there’s so many but in my order
1. 14’ ECF Game 6 2. 12’ Winter Classic 3. 24’ Stadium Series 4. 14’ second round Game 6 (Marty’s Mother’s Day goal) 5. 15’ Second Round Game 7 6. 22’ Second Round Game 7 7. 24’ Second Round Games 2 and 6
2012 Conference Semi-Finals vs. Capitals – Game 5:
Down 2-1 late in the 3rd, pull Hank for the extra skater, Brad Richards scores with 6.6 seconds left to force OT. Staal scores in the first two minutes of OT. We went from staring down a game 6 on the road to try and force a game 7 to taking the 3-2 series lead before winning in game 7
recency bias would be the ’24 stadium series ot win or the double ot playoff win but also the flyers mika massacre of 2021 season
Hank ECF 2014 game 6
Krieder Hat trick to send the canes to bed without dinner rd 2 24
Game 7 vs penguins rd 1 22
Stadium series
It’s gotta be 2014 ECF Gm 6. They played a great game, controlled the pace at the end of the game. Hank’s blocker save, Dom Moore’s goal. What a night!
ECF game 6 2014 has gotta be in. Exciting and meaningful
Or
Mika 5 goals. I can still see the Panerin pass.
2015 game 7 vs the Caps. Low scoring series, both goalies locked in so the tension was high
Definite recency bias, but Mika 5 goals was pretty intense. Nothing was gratuitous and the game was entertaining in top of being a big win
ECF Game 6 for me.
Chris Kreider 3rd Period Hat Trick.
Vs Carolina, Game 6, Eastern Conference Finals.
I’m skipping a lot, but I don’t care. Obscure Rangers Legend is Marek Malik for the 14-round shootout between the legs shot on Kolzig in 2005, and it’s not even close.
MSL. Mother’s Day
Martin St. Louis on Mother’s Day (totally biased because I was there with my mom.) I know it’s also too recent but I almost said the Stadium Series game this past January. I could not believe they came back and won.
2015 Game 7 second round v Washington. Stepan game.
I legit don’t even remember Trottier being a coach for us haha. I DO remember “fire muckler” chants in the garden though.
It’s Game 7 1994. No questions. Stadium series was incredible but still….
2012 vs Caps playoffs. The Richards / Staal game.
One of these has to go to Derek Stepan’s game 7 OT winner.
Mother’s Day game when St Louis pulled a couple goals out of nowhere to turn it around
A lot of recency bias but its either game 7 ecf 94 or game 7 94 scf
