I saw reports coming in as I was going to bed and really hoped it wasn’t true. This is truly tragic.
Hug your loved ones guys. It’s just beyond awful to think about.
I thought this was some kind of joke last night.
Hockey, as are we all, is lesser for this loss.
Unreal.. I was up last night following the thread and it seemed like it could have been just hoax.. I was hoping for the best waking up this morning.

Absolutely tragic. Fuck drunk drivers.
What an awful tragedy. The brothers were supposed to be in their sister’s wedding today. I can’t imagine the grief they have to be going through.
It also makes me extremely angry to know they were hit by a car while out biking. As a cyclist, I’ve had many a close call. You should be forced to ride a bike on a road with traffic to obtain your driver’s license. There is no other way to understand how it feels and how important it is to drive carefully around cyclists. So what if you are slowed down by 30 seconds to reach your destination. It is worth not putting lives at risk.

So sad. I am a bicycle rider. Can’t tell you how many times I’ve almost been hit just crossing a street using pedestrian light. Even had drivers look straight at me and still go through red lights. Had to pound on a few hoods in my days. This guy was drunk…drivers on their phones are just as bad.
Man this one hurt to read this morning. My heart goes out to his family and all of Columbus.
