Demidov is getting a lot of spotlight lately, between russian media and these social media videos. My worry is that he keeps getting wooed and gains popularity on Russia to the point where he begins to feel a sort of “star” status should his KHL beginnings also succeed (advertisement, highlight reel goals, interviews, sponsors, etc). At which point it might get harder to convince him to start over here in the NHL.
I love this kid already. He’s going to be such a great addition to our team just on his personality alone
There was a time when guys like Kovalev and Subban were not really allowed to show their personality. I’m glad the Habs now let these guys shine through.
