Honestly this was one of the more knowledgable discussions about the Bucs I have seen from someone outside of the Tampa media circuit, he lays out some solid points that I think a lot of us here have been saying all offseason. The Bucs discussion starts at 1:00:00.
Because no one ever talks about Tampa. Thats how it was before Brady, and went right back to that after.
They will soon remember!
We won what’s universally regarded as the worst division with a mediocre record for the second year in a row; that’s not going to get attention like a more exciting division. Also, and this is a huge part of it, we brought back more or less the same team instead of hauling in free agents or doing crazy things in the draft. The Falcons get loads of attention because they spent big on free agents and drafted like the Falcons, so they seem more interesting to talk about because bigger stuff has happened. I mean, everybody ignores the obvious “the offseason champion doesn’t exactly translate to actual success”, which we’ve seen many times before, but I completely understand why nobody talks about us. The Bucs aren’t exciting, but who cares? We’re likely to be pretty good this year at minimum.
Same as it was pre-Brady.
Ive seen lots of people choosing the Commies as the team that’s going to upset this week lol

Thanks for that!
Fuck em all, they’ll talk about us in January.
