  1. This team is trash and can’t hit a lick. Lost 2 of 3 to the sorry ass Cardinals at home.!They send Hudson down to save his option for next year. This proves how serious the front office isn’t about winning! Milner and Peguero are garbage . Murphy may lose his manager of the year title if he keeps putting those scrubs in clutch situations. This offense is terrible. They will get swept in the wild card again because there is no way in hell they are catching the Phillies or Dodgers now. Same sorry ass team different year. The only thing they play for is participation trophies!!!!

  4. How much money does Hoskins want next year? Batting .200? He's not even gonna have 30 homers this season? We might want a first baseman to go along with that third baseman, next season?

  6. So, is the decision to pitch Milner against Baker all that much worse than the matchup of Payamps against Donovon? Hoby Milner recently came off the IL, but needs to show he can compete at the level the 3 other lefties are at. Hall, Koenig, and Hudson are all giving postive results. Hudson is getting a tuneup to get back to an elite level right now. I'm looking at this call by Murphy and not really seeing a mistake. Donovan is hitting .264 for the season and .257 in August. Donovon is a starter. Baker is a backup player hitting only hitting .211 on the season and a mere .133 in August. Maybe Hoby Milner just can't get right handed hitters out in key situations.

  7. There was some commentary recently about the lack of attendance on Monday(?). The fans that continue to support MLB INCs economic stacked deck against small market teams by attending will only get more of the same frustration. If more fans would starve the beast league wide, reducing the league for it really is (a gravy train playground for about 8 teams), then MLB might actually do something about a real salary cap. The Brewers only real chance at a WS appears to be to get lucky as hell drafting and developing 6-7 guys guys who can hit better than .260 with power all at the same time while they can still afford them. Not going to happen. Don't let MLB make a sucker out of you. DEMAND change.

  8. They had 3 dogs on the schedule coming into this series – Cards, Rocks and Pirates. Any realistic chance of a #2 seed hangs on sweeps. They just pissed down their leg against St.L. The team is young, so I guess it's not totally unexpected. Sweeping the Rocks is a MUST, or just pack it in and coast to the wildcard round because they're not catching the #2 seed. Its been a successful, overachieving season regardless. Hopefully they can improve on last year, and get past the first 27 hours.

  9. I admire the optimism, but this is where we dont recover and fall deeper into the hole. Our time is over. If were struggling with this team, what do you think a real team is going to do to us? Im always pessimistic for a reason. I see things for what they are.
