I actually don’t mind this pimp job too much because technically Gunnar’s baseball instincts were spot on (in the sense that he hit hard enough to clear the wall)
It still resulted in an out sure, but imo it’s not really comparable to what say Donaldson was doing last year

The whole sequence is comedy, Gunnar pimping a ball that would’ve cleared the wall by an inch, the pitcher celebrating like an excited little kid, Siri T-posing, Gunnar slamming his helmet, Siri deep breath zen moment. Pure art
