Nailbiter in Bremerhaven, I thought we would once again end up losing points despite being well up in SOG/xG. Ended up ok but we *need* to convert our opportunities more, wasn’t quite as blatant as Friday but still. Fuchs and Holdener contriving not to score an empty netter by passing back and forth inside the offensive zone was the most comical example.
On the other hand, the fact that we dominated the Czech champions and the German vice-champions is *very* encouraging, and I love the performances shown by our youngsters Rochette and Pasche (both of which I’m ready to bet you’ll see at the WC this year), and our new blueliner Sklenicka is also a monster.
