Whoever wears 81 in ska was playing a great game today. Im impressed.
If he plays 45 games i predict a 30 point season. I think if he gets 30 that is very impressive. Khl isnt too forgiving for rookies.

Demidov's development and health are the most important factors. Having a better season than Michkov is only for bragging rights and is useless.

Hockey is now a young men's sport these kids are just too good for grown men too fast too agile too creative.. theyre in shape.. I have zero doubt demidov will succeed if not in mtl elsewhere
So he was supposed to be the 13th player and had so good off season that he ends up in first lane.
Ok.
Question: All the scouts rank Demidov's skating as average (and almost everything else above average). I'm wondering how come? His lateral step skating is phenomenal, he can turn on a dime, he has very deceptive movements, he has good acceleration, he had the highest average skating speed on the team. Is this an outdated opinion now? Is he above average in this metric because it sure as heck looks like it.
Give him the Cup.

It wasn't crazy by any measure and the 2nd game was way more pedestrian. He has shown he is as good as expected. Now the learning begins. It's a huge step for him right out of the MHL. Ususally talents like this gather experince in men's leagues earlier. But he has a boss who lacks experince himself.
