I’d rather lose with Reddick on the field than holding out. Pay him and let’s get serious.
So many years, and so many ‘well that’s because’ … maybe, just maybe knowing why isn’t solving anything
We are the 3rd best team in the AFC East and won’t make the playoffs.
Compare and contrast. All of the other AFC East teams fell behind and came back to win.
The Jets went ahead and then collapsed totally on both defense and offense.
Rodgers to me looked slow
And cue the “Don’t overreact” crowd. Man listen, we haven’t been to the post season in a decade and counting, the AFC East might be sneaky good. But let’s continue to cope as if everything is rosy
What happened to Breece ?
His worst game in a Jets uni.
Saleh doesn’t make it through the season.
hello darkness my old frienddddd
Everybody needs to calm the f down. It was one game, against the most talented squad in the league. The D getting gashed in the running game like that was troubling. Long season to go….
Hey at least this team can actually score again.
Yikes
If we do anything short of manhandling a Derrick Henry-less titans team leave Saleh & co in Nashville
Sauce and Reed vs D Hop and Ridley might be a very fun battle
Don’t underreact.
Its not that they lost, that was expected, it was how. Defense got punched in the mouth with the Niners missing their best player. No pass rush. No turnovers. No big plays. One punt. The offensive rust/miscues were livable, as AR hasnt played with these guys in a game. But no excuses for the defense to get run over.
the good thing is that all the problems they’ve had this game are at least more fixable by coaching decisions and personnel changes than the problem we had last year of ‘no one can throw a fucking ball’
it’s a rough start, but i’m excited to see how they improve after this.
Coaches were absolute morons tonight
Haven’t seen any mention of this, but not playing the starters AT ALL during the preseason looked evident tonight. Whole team looked rusty, even the vets. I assumed the Jets would take a few weeks to get into gear, but this should be a slight wake up call for this team that they are still not *there* yet. The Jets, at this point, are still absolutely a tier below teams like the Chiefs and 49ers.
Glad everyone stayed healthy for the most part, but this was probably not what the majority of us had been waiting for since last year. Can’t say there were any standouts today other than maybe Morestead (love him but our punter should not be our best player again).
Saleh needs to figure it out. He’s got a great roster for once and still the team seems uninspired.
I’m not upset about this game at all. Rodgers looks rusty but in form, everything else is fixable.
Defensive line needs to get it together stat
Offensive line not to bad
Offense will figure it out.. hopefully
I love it the staff but there’s a reason why everyone is on the hot seat this year
Saleh need to take accountability for the sauce benching. Absolutely Braindead move especially at that time in the game. Unserious coach.
People acting like Reddick being signed for 3 more years would have mattered in this are insane. Whether we lost by 3 points or 29 the 49ers are a legit team. Next week will matter much more.
There’s absolutely 0 reason to panic after going against the guys that went to the superbowl last year.
We will be fine, just let Rodgers sling it.
I’m not sure if Saleh is any better than Adam Gase. This team looks terrible. Talented in some ways, but still terrible.
The entire NFL looked pretty sluggish this week. Offense scored 3 touchdowns. Defense needs to be better. I’m not to upset tbh.
The coaching staff is going to be the demise of this team.
All I heard all off season was how crazy this defense was gonna be.
I get its the niners and week 1 but giving up 8 straight scoring drives is truly ridiculous.
This was pretty much our pre season tune up with the starters…except it actually counted. As most have stated, losing to the NFC champs doesn’t make me want to go apoplectic. Let’s beat Tennessee!
The Jets flying out west on a Sunday afternoon may or may not have affected the performance tonight.
We need to stop with the Run-Run-Pass, Breece is good but we can’t just be predictable. Honestly was happy with Lazard’s performance, had one bad drop but other than that not bad. Offense will shapen up. Defense on the other hand what was that. Pass defense was bad, Run defense was absolutely trash.
Robert Saleh and Hackett will cost the Jets success imo
If you look at the best teams in the league, they all have far better coaches. Saleh is not on the level of Reid, Shanahan, McVay etc..
Bill did a better job coaching this team on the manningcast than saleh did on the field
This game made me paranoid that they don’t even beat Tennessee next week. This team has given me irreversible PTSD and now I’m starting to think that the Titans will find a way to carve this defense now too.
just got home from the game. so embarrassing hearing niners fans do the j-e-t-s chants as we were leaving….
Think Aaron Rodgers should call the plays. Our play calling was so atrocious.
Bad game for the Jets, but the 49ers are the best team in the NFC and barely lost the SUper Bowl last year.
The Jets aren’t on that level, but can still be a playoff team. Let’s see how they do next week before making some big pronouncements of how theyll finish the season.
