Hishon. Concussions derailed what could have been something special.
Kariya and Selanne kind of fizzled like a fart in the wind. It sucked because I like both layers.
I would say Peter Forsberg because of the injuries.
Big Val
Val
Steve Moore. I know what happened to him wasn’t his fault. But his career was ended in a horrible way.
Val Nichushkin
I got enough backing on “overrated” that I guess I’ll toss Jost out there. 10th overall pick turned 4th liner/bubble guy? Loved him, but it really feels like he never panned out for us.
Peter Mueller
Should be Val, no question
Siemens? Maybe Svatos?
Jose Theadore played for us for a bit. Just reminding the class.
Marek Svatos
1 vote Hishon, 1 vote Wolski
Martin Kaut
Matt Duchene
Duncan Siemens. I will die on this hill.
Nail Yakupov, though that’s more or less his whole sad history
Wojtek Wolski for sure!!
Kariya
Connor Bleakley
Stefan Elliot he was a big reason why we traded Kevin shattenkirk. Him and Barrie were supposed to be an elite duo and also Tyson Jost
Vaclav Nedorost?
For Avs or in general? Because if it’s only for the Avs I would say Kariya and Selanne. We were supposed to be a star team and lost to San Jose in the second round. I’d throw that in as wasted potential.
Joey Hishon
Joey Hishon
Duncan Siemens?
Val doesn’t qualify for this category. When his time with the Avs is over, we can reflect.
Otherwise, this is an emotional response. Highly illogical.
He had one of his statistically worst seasons with the avs getting 32pts in 78 games.. then next year he gets 90 pts in 80 games and 94pts in 82 games the year after with the Ducks while winning the cup
he had potential to be a 90+ pt player here but never realized it with us
I still love him though. I remember when he and Kariya decided to join the avs to win a cup together. I was so excited
