  1. I agree regarding not yet.

We are still missing some size/sandpaper to be able to survive a deep playoff run IMO.

This was also recently stated by the Great Serge Savard (who brought us 2 Stanley Cups when he was GM) about our current HABS.

We are still rebuilding and I trust Gorton & Hughes 100% in that regard.

  2. Thanks Coach…I suspect next free agency will bring either a top defence or top forward….but if Fowler doesn’t work out, the goaltending is a real question re winning the cup.

  3. Well I have always said bottom 6 size and grit and speed is a must to win cups they will build this in the next couple years as for your last question will not waste my time we have both lol cheers from Cabo and the Habs are building a big fast team

  4. for sure team is not complete, min. 6 are still in the pipeline, rebuild takes 5 years we've done only 2, yes best a top 1 d, but we can do it ny commitee, guhle mailloux reinbacher hutson xjekak.

  5. Same with forwards in 3 years, more experience cole slaf roy dach added already will be demidov hage beck florian etc. at end of 3 rd or 4th year rebuild hughes can add a big piece. we need to be patient 2 more years to see our actual team for the future

  6. It's tough to choose between two young guys 18 & 20, Demidov is just starting pro in Russia & who knows? I'll go with his "potential" because if he pans out the way it looks like he might, he can be a game changer in big games as he believes he can be. I believe the same for Slaf, he's said that's what he plays for, so we could be in very good shape if they both are. Then there's Laine!
We need some big tough checker in the bottom 6, Florian X looks like a fit for that, but those guys are easier and cheaper to acquire. Thx Coach, tough question…
