  3. ortiz needs to guard the line in these late innings situations .. several times there have been doubles down the line that needs to be cleaned up. give up the single but you have to be sitting on that line imo

  4. I'm surprised they won this series, but they still have no offense. Their offense has completely vanished. This is the wrong time for their offense to dry up. We may see a similar situation to last year in the Wild Card round.

  6. One of the first things I liked about Churio is his ability to go oppo. Whether it be ground balls or liners. If you factor in his speed which will get him infield hits, I think we can look forward to 300 seasons with many 30/30 .
    Now let's hope Mitchell will get it going so we can have a great outfield with Yeli.
    I don't see any future in Frelick and Perkins is just a bench guy.

  7. I am still rooting for him to go 25/25.

    When you hope for this, you hope for one magical day where he hits, say, 3 HRs, then it comes with in reach.

  10. Despite some very tough series coming up, there is time to get hot at the right time. Though it’s getting less likely to gain a bye, these guys may be the type of team that cannot afford to be idle and go stale.

  11. None of the NL Playoff teams has a weakness against lefties (like the Brewers)but if we get to the World Series vs the Yankees, I am glad we have Hall, Ashby, Hudson & Koenig.

  12. The contract on Chourio is just fine. What we really need to do is resign Adames before the playoffs and extend the contract of Montas. I sense a comeback with Montas and he also seems to be developing a solid relationship with Contreras. I would also pitch Montas in the first game of any playoff series the Brewers secure.

  15. Enoli Paredes… Hopefully he's back to where he was prior to his last outing for the Brewers. Paredes could/should be a part of this offseason bullpen. Who got cut? Elvis Pequero who had horendous results after coming back from Nashville was sent back down. Murphy is piecing the playoff team together. I'm still wondering if Isaac Collins makes an impact. Milner did have a good outing in a low stress situation on Wednesday, but he's hanging by a thread. Also, will the crew keep 3 catchers for the post season?

  18. Frankie Montas… Definiitely should be at least the #3 starter in the playoffs. Right now I think the 3 man rotation should be: 1. Peralta 2. Myers 3. Montas. Colin Rea should be cut and Aaron Civale might have to be cut too, to make the roster # work.

  19. I have been pulling for Ashby to be part of the team all season. Am pleased to see him performing well in the bullpen…Megill was in beast mode last night, just blew away the 3 hitters he faced. Hope he keeps it up!
