absolute cheeks
Oof. That fucking sucked. I always hate losing to the Dodgers, especially when we had such a great opportunity to win and also get ahead of the Mets. I won’t badmouth Iglesias because he’s done so much of the heavy lifting for this team this year. We’ve won several games this year pretty much because of him. It’s these dumbass hitters that have no approach at the plate. What was frustrating is it felt like Kopech was more throwing than pitching, but that’s also good scouting on his end to know that he could just continually pump the fastballs knowing our guys would hack at all of them.
To try and keep things in perspective without completing going ape shit, we can still win the series tomorrow. And if we don’t, a split has still kept us alive. It sucks we’re having scoreboard watch teams ahead of us, but at this point, what’s done is done and we just gotta hope we can play well enough down the stretch.
The 9th inning implosion aside, this is what this team is guys. Once you get through our top 4, there’s just not a lot you can depend on beyond that. We’re just missing too much to fill it out
Only 2 out of Kopech’s 8 pitches to Travis were in the strike zone, the rest weren’t even borderline. He never threw Arcia a strike.
Lee isn’t getting enough blame for the loss. Our offense has been mediocre at best. You can’t hand the tying run.
There’s no way Dylan Lee an experienced pitcher. in a race for the wild card. needing every possible win. especially after the Mets lost. Would get not 1 but 2 pitch clock violations in 1 inning. Mocking Charlie’s insane effort. There no way. He was just in the hands of Sunday night baseball winds already deciding that the braves are not allowed to win on these nights of strait misery and in game player interviews. No one would dare Sabatoge the game for his teammates he’s smart. One of out best relievers. He was just dealt the wrath of Sunday baseball Witchery making him forget what’s at hand. Lol Sorry I hate Sunday night baseball and my NFL team the Jags gets every strange thing possible against them and are on a downward spiral. College team the awful Gators. I’m falling apart and all my teams can’t finish its tragic! My bad for run on sentences it’s been rough.
This team has been doing this all year. They bring you up just to kick you in the nuts again. It takes a toll.
Hate the dodgers, hate espn, and the combination resulted in my poor door getting punched. The door survived and I feel better now. Let’s get the W and series win tomorrow.
Have they won a single game on Sunday night baseball?
Tried to find out what our record is on Sunday Night Baseball, my dad thinks we don’t win when we play SNB or on Fox and well he got proven right again lol.
But all I could find is our record on Sunday’s, which is: 1532-1550 on Sundays all-time.
That sucked bad, but win tomorrow and that’s 3/4 from the Dodgers. If that’s not good enough for you, idk what to tell you.
We’re 0-6 when we’re on ESPN
I never want to see Kelenic on the field again
It’s funny all the negative reactions on here. If I told you the Braves lost the Charlie Morton dodgers game of the four game series no one would bat an eye
At least the Mets lost too.
Iggy was due one to be fair he was carrying on at an inhumane pace.
I am horrified snit will keep playing Kelly over Laureano and we will choke against cinnci and Miami bc we can not hit bad pitchers at all it’s embarrassing
Well the good news is that there is no good news and I’m going to go walk into traffic
That ninth inning was like the LDS first inning against the Cards
Just a reminder that Bummer has the third best FIP in MLB and was used last night.
Just got back from the game. Lee, why are you staring at Wol Smith on second when there are 2 outs and you have 2 strikes on Ohtani? Get Ohtani out and the inning is over, that’s where your attention should be.
Kelenic, if you can’t say something nice…
My first game at Truist and didn’t explore much as the 4 1/2 drive wore me out, as did walking up that hill to the ballpark. I’ll explore tomorrow.
Do they do the Make some Noise every half inning every game? Yes, I got tired of hearing it by the third inning.
Laureano better be in tomorrow. Kelenic hasn’t gotten a hit in the 2 games he has played. He was the last out 2 times tonight & last night when we had multiple guys in scoring position. He may get a 1 run homer every once in an awhile but he can’t hit in big moments. Pitchers know how to get him out when the game is on the line.
Holy fucking shit let’s not do that again
Just an FYI, when watching a game on ESPN (MLB or NFL) do what I do and just mute the tv and listen to some music on headphones. Anything pertinent will be put on the screen, no need to hear their nonsense
What the fuck was that?
Sucks I can’t even be mad at iglesias because he’s been carrying all year.
Laureano has been our second best hitter since he’s joined the Braves. Kelenic has been the worst. Why does he start over him? I don’t understand. We’re fighting for the playoffs.

Would anyone happen to know our record on Sunday games?
Why did they not bunt with runners on in the 8th?
Attendant win streak broken. Praying that Max can get us the series win tomorrow. 😞🙏
You can blame me it was my 1st game at Truist
I get that everyone is hurt and those that aren’t hurt have had offensive issues but the offensive approach of this team is maddening. We go from taking competitive AB’s and making Walker Buehler work to then swinging at anything and everything. That’s irritating enough and then to top it off the ESPN announcers are awful. I’m not even talking about the overt bias for the Dodgers. They just legitimately suck and Eduardo Perez might be the biggest idiot of the bunch. Mookie and Shohei are incredible talents and by the end of that broadcast I was pissed at both because they wouldn’t talk about anyone else. Just a shitty product and I long for the day when Apple TV gets an exclusive contract as the video quality is better and they let me listen to the radio team who actually know who Eli White is.
All good, #WeMove
Man, can we talk about Ozuna? He’s still getting hits most games, but where’s his long ball been?
I’m not trying to shit talk him as he deserves a ton of credit for getting us here, but I’m actually concerned for him. Is he okay?
Damn, that box score is just not what I expected to see. I was busy all day and saw the score earlier and was like, ahh, damn, Morton must not have had it today. Got home and actually saw the box score and was like WTF?!
Dylan Lee didn’t ask to play, Dylan Lee didn’t want to play clearly with those two pitch timer violations
