If the Kings are to make an unexpected jump this season, Keegan has to, too.
As the unquestioned starting PF this season, he will get more looks close to the basket; I also expect his shooting % to rebound now that he’s had a chance to adjust to the upped defensive physical responsibilities. Because he will be playing at a faster pace than he’s used to at 35yo, Keegan could surpass DeMar in minutes and points, some of them on assists from DeMar.
I'm not saying have high expectations. But I wouldn't count out Jalen McDaniels. He had a garbage season, but he has shown good defensive flashes for sure. There's a chance he thrives in getting some Alex len like minutes at the forward spot.
