  1. Just a winnable game in every aspect. Darvish was good, but I’ve seen them shell pitchers way better than Darvish…

  2. You could just feel this wasn’t going to be a win for Astros. Even if it was within reach. The lineup was good but the order might have needed some tweeking. Ump didn’t help us either.

  3. That’s a good team. No shame in losing to them.

That being said, I want to put one between the numbers on Profar’s back. That bat flip was excessive.

  4. Like I said in the GDT, weird fucking game. Arrighetti had a very good game in spite of getting his pitch count inflated by them fouling everything off. Offense was very frustrating but also it’s hard for me to blame them fully when the ump was calling everything within the circumference of his moms fupa around the plate a strike. Doesn’t help us be patient when we don’t know if not swinging will be a strike

  5. Offense didn’t show up tonight. Blue didn’t help at all. Good to see our pitchers keep it close though. Oh well forget about this one. HB tomorrow!!

  6. – Arrighetti did fine all things considered.

    – we couldn’t hit Darvish that well, but even when we did try to get something going the dipshit HPU would bail Darvish out. Yeah, you could argue that we should’ve worked counts, but how can you do that when the strike zone is an extra foot on all sides? Brian O’Nora is a baseball terrorist.

    – the Padres rotation for this series legit has me worried. King is good, and so is Cease. And Hunter is also a pitch to contact guy, and Arrighetti got worked by the lineup doing that. Not trying to doom, but tomorrow’s matchup does have me a little worried, it just seems like it’s not a good matchup pitching wise.

  7. Padres just better tonight, even with ump shit. Gotta come out tomorrow strong. Season and division is far from over, Mariners feeling hopeful with wild card in reach, they will be playing even harder. Just win.

  8. I’ll tell ya what’s wrong with it.

It ain’t got no gas in it.

Take game 2 tomorrow and move on.

    Go Stros!

  9. Today was the game to win, kept their offense pretty quiet and our offense just plain sucked. Wouldn’t be surprised if the Padres explode on us tomorrow.

  10. I saw Arrighetti at Nordstrom’s before the game. I was going to say hi but I figured he’s probably in the zone. Probably should have said hey man watch out for Profar he’s tough.

  11. I don’t think we win a single game in SD. And that A’s series is going to haunt us down the stretch.

  12. Well, on the plus side, if shit goes badly the next couple, I’ll be in Portland for work through Saturday, so… no late nights for me. 🤷🏼‍♂️😮‍💨
