1. Phillies returned INF Edmundo Sosa from his rehab assignment with Lehigh Valley (AAA) and reinstated him from the 10-day IL.

   To make room for him on the 28-man roster, INF Buddy Kennedy was optioned to Lehigh Valley last night

   Additionally, catcher Aramis Garcia has cleared waivers and was outrighted to Lehigh Valley.
