Trevor isn’t as bad as his stats say he is. I remember posting In here and saying that I hope Gardner minshew got the best opportunity outside of Jacksonville. And guess what? He’s not bad outside of Jacksonville. We can’t do that because Trevor is signed for a while, but I hope khan realizes this ship is sinking fast.
Just reinforces my belief that they do not call for the strengths of their players. It’s why Etienne is jammed into the middle for minimal gain instead of outside where he can outrun people.
It’s why trevor is forced to run screens and bullshit flat routes for minimal gain instead of throwing dots with his arm strength down the middle to btj every drive.
It’s why we never get our playmakers in space, because the scheme insists on itself instead of adjusting to the players and game situation.
Most importantly its why the offense can’t compensate for the shitty o line. There’s no room for flexibility
