  1. Springer has the same game of White/Jrue. I think they'll keep him for 1 more year at least to develop and see more of his potential, rather than escalating with vets that also won't get minutes

  2. Trade him.

Taxes, expiring contract, 12th man at best, replacements already on the roster.

Top 5 trade targers i like:

    1. Torrey Craig
    2. Toumani Camara
    3. Peyton Watson
    4. Tari Eason
    5. Trendon Watford

Its way more than 7M allie if you're factoring taxes for 2nd apron teams. Its actually closer to saving the organization 12M to cut springer for a pick. Same way that signing a vet min player is going to cost boston closer to 6M once taxes are factored in.

  3. If Springer can be seen as a possible future Jrue Holiday replacement, then the Cs should just keep him .Torrey Craig maybe a more refined player, but like Powell, they don't have the same potential as Springer since both are 33 years old. The dream scenario for the Cs, if trade Springer is the plan, is to wait until the trade deadline, trade Springer for draft pick that would end up being Cooper Flagg

  4. id be completely ok trading springer considering the guard depth currently on the team. jaden for aldama with our buddies the grizz? pritchard is also a big question mark for the future, great player, great contract, but could he help bring in an even better fit for the team?

  5. If you are looking to save money snd plan for the future, perhaps we should trade Holiday for draft picks.
He alreeady helped us bring a championship, is making a boatload of money so would save us so much more than Springer, is getting older and headng into sunset years, and they adequate depth to withstand losing him. Pritchard (PP) and White (DP) could share primary pg minutes and PP, DW, & JB can share primary sg duties.
This would allow us to give more reasonable opportunities to many pkayers that we believe have potential, relieve the current financial stress, and bring in much more in the way of future draft picks than anything Springer could get us.
I LOVE HOLIDAY and would have no problem whatsoever if they keep him but trading him away just appears to be the best solution in my eyes.
    Go Cs!
