  1. Well that sucked, but for some reason I’m not even mad about losing that one. Cease was dealing. The vibes of this series were wacky from the start. Time to bring the brooms back out for LA and finish off the Mariners after!

  2. 15-14 over the past month. Team feels very unserious right now. Gotta figure it out with playoffs less than 2 weeks away.

  3. We got one. Getting guys tuned up after injuries. Great pitching it’s a shame we couldn’t get the bats going

  4. Pathetic after pathetic after pathetic after pathetic after pathetic after pathetic after pathetic after pathetic at bats

  5. Thank God that serious is over these umps were terrible 😭. Our offense needs to get it together though. It is not the time to slump.

  6. Well, let’s hope the travel home is restful. Gotta get back out there tomorrow. Hope we never see that ump crew again.

  7. Things happen, not always good, like this game. We’re a lot better team than that. We can only win all the rest of the games we can.

  8. Cease is a great pitcher. Sometimes great pitchers have great performances, even against top teams and top hitters.

It is so cringey to read comments that are just untrue. I saw commenters saying our offense was looking worse than Seattle, saying our hitters are too inconsistent to even sniff victory in a playoff series, oh and that they aren’t trying hard enough.

    It’s honestly so embarrassing lol

  9. The Padres seem like the best team we’ve played all year. This easily could have been a sweep, even without the Ump Show.

That said: We got this! Let’s rock those Halos.

  10. Offensively the team looked flat.

Credit to Crease who pitched an absolute gem of a game.

    Onto the next one

  11. With the bad vibes that this series has been, I’m happy with taking one. I’m over this entire umpiring crew, although knowing us we’ll probably get Laz Diaz this next series.

Ort was the right decision, it just backfired spectacularly.

I’ll take a 4-2 road trip. Just gotta take care of business against the Angels (again), then onto Seattle.

  12. I’m not even mad. I feel like we could’ve easily gotten swept, if not for all the umpire shenanigans. San Diego is scary and Cease is gonna haunt my dreams for a few nights.

  13. It was a close game until Ort came in. I’m not that mad about this one. I would have been if we lost last night. Framber pitched great. I’m glad we are getting out of this city. All of our hits couldn’t find grass or stay fair.
We went 4-2 on the road trip. I’m sure everyone here would take that any day of the week.

  14. How is Crease looking for NL Cy Young? Wouldn’t be mad the way he was going out there. Honestly, after the first game, I thought we would be swept, so to get that middle game felt pretty good

  15. Nort will still probably make the postseason roster but low leverage AF situations lol bruh wtf was that.

  16. Stop dicking with the lineup. Altuve/Bregman/Alvarez/Diaz and stop changing it. If you want to change it up, Tucker at the 2 and Bregman at 5. But stop messing with a surefire thing.

Tip of the cap to Cease, he was on fire today.

  17. I’m disappointed that the Astros offense just isn’t good atm, but not mad. It could be worse – we could be Rangers fans 😝

  18. I had a fortunate night.

I could have stayed home and watched this game but I drove 1.5 hours each way to watch my nephew play about 20 minutes of water polo in a 17-2 blowout.
