[Batchelor] Rick Tocchet name checks Vilmer Alriksson, Jonathan Lekkerimäki and Elias Pettersson as guys who really impressed him at Young Stars.

Elias just there to stunt on them hoes
Sasson looked good to me too tbh
I’d hope Petterson impressed him, he’s being paid almost 12M a year.
Anyone else really, really excited to see all these guys get a shot with the team.
I hope he noticed Sasson, Raty, and Romani. 👀
Lek showed some good iq and skill. Was just unlucky i guess. Has alot more work to do to get to the nhl level.
Lekkerimäki seemed to be really moving his feet and using his body position in puck battles. I kept noticing him getting involved in the corners and along the wall and that leading to possession. If that side of his game is what’s impressing Tocchet, I think he stands a good chance of getting an extended look.
If Lekkerimaki can cook early with Petterson and Hoglander, sick Swedey line
I still think it’s weird Petey was playing defense at a prospect tournament
Finally living up to his ginormous contract.
Theres a decent chance that Alriksson gets a chance at a 9 game stint to help allieviate Joshua’s departure during his recovery. If Alriksson can actually keep up with the pace of NHL games, and be defensively sound, then why not give him a look without burning his ELC Y1.
lil Petey and Lekkeramaki will benefit from a full season in the AHL, not being rushed into any roles they aren’t ready for. If they get NHL games as first call ups, that’s best case scenario outside of them just being absolute studs out of the gate.
