They have to win out now pretty much
Hi Jake and Grant !!
Great team win . Outstanding performance by Schwellenbach . Timely hits by Ozuna( following a 20+ game draught of no HR) and others .
Need to get a win tomorrow before going to the Marlins!! Go Braves
I think 8-2 last 10 gets Braves in. As long as they do 2 out of 3 from Mets next week. Not impossible but not easy either
Braves own the tiebreaker with the Dbacks and have 3 with the Mets so we still have several avenues into the playoffs. 2 games is hardly insurmountable.
Ozzie Albies is 4 for 8 with a walk and a homer in 2 games now. I suspect he'll get 1 more game in the minors as Gwinnett is down in Jacksonville playing the Jumbo Shrimp, and the Braves have to go to Miami on Friday to face the Marlins, thus Ozzie would only have to travel just down the coast for Friday's game.
Ive seen some braves magic before… but boy, do we need some braves magic. We pretty much need to win out to have a normal series with the mets.. we cant go in there needing a sweep or its over.. but i keep rooting and keeping faith until we are mathematically eliminated..
