Lead off single, then 3 outs on 4 pitches.
Yeah. I get it.
Might as well just roll over in the 9th.
Goodnight Brendan, goodnight Goldy, goodnight Nado, goodnight Noot, goodnight Siani, goodnight Pitching staff. Rest o y’all need to be in the cage tonight
I’ve accepted we won’t make the playoffs, I just want to finish better than the Cubs.
the more sweeps we fumble the funnier it is that we’re the ones who broke the orioles no-sweep streak
See y’all next year
Seeing the Ohtani today just makes this season all the more depressing.
Any non-jaded takes/reasons on why we let Pages hit instead of Herrera?
Seems like the best move would’ve been to let Noot hit then pinch hit Baker for Pages. But since they burned Baker for Noot, why is Herrera’s much better bat not taking that AB from Pages?
There’s that 2024 Cardinals offense we all know and love
As bad as we’re perceived by the fanbase, we did hang around til the bitter end with the best teams in baseball. Seeing it in person was painful this year, but we will be back and better next season, undoubtedly. Whole FO needs to go, but it’s not happening. Hopefully Chaim takes over for MO in 2026. See you guys next season!
This offense has been soooooo very bad, it is almost kind of hilarious at this point.
oh no. we suck again.
There is a 2011 Braves-Cardinals Wild Card chase going on right now in the AL. Minnesota was 70-53 on August 17th, 10.5 up on the 60-64 Tigers and they are currently tied with just over a week left.
We had a better record than the Tigers on August 17th and were only 4 out at that point, btw.
What a waste of a season
I just have to check and make sure: are any of you running for governor of North Carolina?
So when they say bobbleheads to the first 25,000 16 and older…do they actually enforce that, or is it essentially first 25k
Sweeps are hard, but man we do not get them. I’ll take 3/4 I guess
Dreaded number now 2…
Donny had a good game at least
