  1. Drew Smyly – your plane is boarding. His last few relief outings have been terrible after a previous run of good relief appearances

  2. Sounds about right. We’re gonna end finish perfect and it won’t matter. Seems appropriate for this year. That, or we’ll get within 1 game and then blow it, yes, that sounds more appropriate, the ol 9th inning rally leading to a 1 run loss.

  3. Do any of you know the name of the dude with the long black curly hair in the bleachers that bangs on the green metal next to the seats during Go Cubs Go? This is just curiosity so I can say, “Hey, there’s insert name here.”

  4. I won’t hate on Drew Smyly, since we gave him an opportunity to rehab from injury/surgery and he wasn’t *all* bad with the Cubs. I was fortunate enough to watch him win the Field of Dreams game against the Reds. He was a serviceable reliever this season for the most part, but recently he’s fallen off, and now, I wish him the best either in retirement or with another team (that isn’t the Cardinals).
