I like winning better than losing
Back ahead of the Cardinals at least. Woohoo!
What say we give Smyly the next 9 games off.
Ethan Roberts’ first big league win
Drew Smyly – your plane is boarding. His last few relief outings have been terrible after a previous run of good relief appearances
Nationals fan here. Ggs. Fun game. Let’s do that all weekend.
Sounds about right. We’re gonna end finish perfect and it won’t matter. Seems appropriate for this year. That, or we’ll get within 1 game and then blow it, yes, that sounds more appropriate, the ol 9th inning rally leading to a 1 run loss.
A little off topic but man are Alcantara and Shaw hot right now!
can anyone give me the wrap i was at a different game
Do any of you know the name of the dude with the long black curly hair in the bleachers that bangs on the green metal next to the seats during Go Cubs Go? This is just curiosity so I can say, “Hey, there’s insert name here.”
My mom says smyly is the new cuas
Again I ask – why are we pretending Drew Smyly is a competent pitcher?
Too bad the offense was a complete joke late April through early July.
I won’t hate on Drew Smyly, since we gave him an opportunity to rehab from injury/surgery and he wasn’t *all* bad with the Cubs. I was fortunate enough to watch him win the Field of Dreams game against the Reds. He was a serviceable reliever this season for the most part, but recently he’s fallen off, and now, I wish him the best either in retirement or with another team (that isn’t the Cardinals).
Smyly is meh…
